I got some new equipment. 'Tain't much, but it'll serve the purpose! I got a Crate BT10 bass amplifier for my piano at Guitar Center. It was small, it was lightweight & it was on sale -- so I got one!
It doesn't sound that good, but what the hell, right?
Specs are: 10-watt output
8-inch speaker
Cabinet is 13.75-inches high & 13-inches wide
Weighs 14.5 pounds
Now I don't have to use my headphones any more at home. That was the real purpose. :blob2: :blob2: :]
Some of you may be wondering why I bought a bass amp for a piano. Well . . . it beats running the signal through a guitar amp!!

I used to lug a Peavey KB300 around, until our truck was broken into, and it got stolen, along with a bunch of other gear. I've just played through the monitors ever since.
At home, I play through a little Fender Bass amp!!! It was, errrr.......donated, to me.

Super nintendo? Wow. Welcome to 1992 everybody.
Anyhoo...yeah I just recently bought a Fender Blues Jr guitar amp. It is SWEET. I have a Boogie that I use for live stuff, but this fender amp really kicks. I think it's a 15-watter thru a 12" speaker. Nice clean sound.

I was sad when my old Nintendo broke, but my SNES & Sega Genesis are still rocking in this new century. You can buy one pretty cheap on eBay!
My roommate keeps wanting to play with me, but she is completely inept. I can literally play Mario 3 with my eyes closed and she's yet to master the concept of how to hold down the Y button to run and jump fast. Drives me ape****.

I never got Mario 3...but Super Mario World? I could play that all day, every day. I'm so gonna buy an SNES.
I wouldn't be able to play with your roommate either. I hold down Y pretty much the entire game - who wants to go slow???

Youre missin out...that game was awesome. Probably the best of the Mario games. Although I really liked the N64 one too.

If you get SNES, get Super Mario All Stars. It's the BEST. It has all three original NES Mario games on one cartridge. I love Super Mario World, too. I can beat the game in two hours without using cheats. It's... pathetic.
I went crazy on eBay a couple of years ago buying back all my favorite games- like Bubsy, Joe & Mac, Mario Kart. I still need to track down a mouse for Mario Paint.

Geek I may be, but fun I do have. All my friends are geeks. Hell, we have weekly Friday afternoon Atari tournaments at work.
