I'm up early and had to put make-up on, so I thought I'd take a picture. I haven't really had much to offer previous picture threads. I'm not quite sure why the picture is so blurry though- when I saved it, it didn't look that way.

Dude, that's what pisses me off. I'm ultra conscious about my teeth because I'm a smoker. I brush two or three times a day, and floss every day. It was my first dentist's appointment in probably like five years, and I need a root canal and have NINE cavities. He says susceptibility to this crap is hereditary, and my dad does have horrific teeth- it pisses me off.

YES!! these are the moments I live for!! hahah...I'm a dental assistant btw. anyway...have you called your dentist? or did he/she give you some pain med? if it doesn't get better by monday I would definately call. also, did he FINISH the procedure, or just partially do it? he may have not gotten all of the bacteria/tissue out. anyway...sorry..I am such a dork about this stuff, but thought I'd offer my 2 cents-which is worth actually less than that ;)

also wanted to agree on the sexy as hell hair!! :D

Oh, sweet! A professional! He gave me a scrip for Vicodin, I've been taking it every six hours with Advil in between. I guess he only partially did it? He put in the temporary filling or whatever and I have to go back on Tuesday for him to finish it and do the cavities. I don't really get what he has to do to fill it, though. I mean, is it like a regular filling? Or is it a crown? I don't get what they do.

*defending root canals across the world* they really arent' as bad as their reputation. and sometimes you can just have trauma to a tooth that can make it need root canal treatment-(blow to the face, breaking the tooth while eating hard candy..etc) but MOST of the time....the reason root canals are so painful is because people have let them go for so long, they get a huge abcess and there is so much infection that they are not able to get numb from the anesthesia. Which sometimes you would just put them on an antibiotic. My boss did a root canal treatment on my tooth 2 days before my wedding and it was fine. Now..there are SOME instances where they are painful for no reason, but if you catch it in time...hopefully things will go smoothly. So if you ever need one, just let them use some valium or Nitrous..and you'll be just fine :D

if he hasn't finished the actual root canal treatment, he has probably just removed the nerve tissue and bacteria. then they have to shape the canals and fill them. Once that is done, they will go back and put a regular filling in the space they created to get to the canals. (you may have to have a post anchored down depending on how much of the tooth structure is gone) then you need a crown-all of the blood supply and nourishment is gone from the tooth, so it becomes very brittle. If you dont' place a crown, you could bite into something and break the tooth. Your dentist may have already told you all of this tho, so I'm prob just talking out of my ass :) hope everything goes o.k. It sounds like tho, he needs to finish the RCT if you are still in that much pain. if not, definately bring it up. there could be many reasons of why it's not getting better.

BY THE WAY........If you guys want me to post this solo I played, help me out. I recorded it on a digital mpeg Sony, and the file is on my laptop at a whopping 52 MB. It's only like 2 minutes long. Any ideas on how to compress it to make it available to you guys? Several Ledgies have been anxious to hear my playing.

Do you do different colors, or always purple? My brother (who now shaves his head in a buzz cut, btw) had his bleached, then black, then yellow, then blue (my personal fave), then green, then flame red, then orange & back to black.

I agree. I wear mine every once in a while. I wear the triangle every day, for sentimental/personal reasons, but sometimes I wear them both on the same chain. I think it'd look great!

what I do is make my own...go to a craft store and find the kind of cord you want and buy some endpieces and you can have it put together in like 5 minutes

I have a crescent moon necklace that I've had for years made out of bone antler. It was a gift and it is indeed masculine. I'll try to dog a pic of it up. I get a ****load of compliments when I wear it.
