Is anyone else bored with the Jana Anderson Q&A on Nicks Fix?

I don't even read them. They are so boring. I only check them out if someone here posts one. Plus she never really answer's the question. It's either, "I'm not really sure", "I haven't heard anything", "You'll have to wait and see" or "she might" or "Stevie's really nice". Yawn.

I like the answers, it's the questions I usually hate. But I respect that she's managed to discuss her strong religious beliefs without sounding "holier than thou" while maintainig a career in music touring with a woman whose been branded a witch by some members of the religious community.

I think Jana is doing a wonderful job with the Q & A session on the Nicksfix. I enjoy reading her thoughtful, caring responses. I think it is very generous of her to take time out of her busy schedule to answer so many questions. Jana is a friend of mine and she is one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. I believe she is answering every question that the Nicksfix sends her, whereas Lori and Sharon only answer a few.

you're probably right...she does seem to be very genuine, and (I've heard it many times) there is something about her....I just sort of figured she was an "employee" and not too much on the inner circle, and probably really didn't know the intimate details

You're spot on! It IS the questions that bug me.
If you don't have anything Stevie to say, don't say anything at all, that's what I say!

^^ I agree as well. Jana seems very thoughtful and genuine in her answers. But...to be honest...I'm not interested in what Jana thinks about the socio-political issues. If I want to hear opinions on those matters, I'll read articles by experts in those areas. Jana's a singer. I'd like to hear about her experiences, her method, working with a band, working with Stevie, etc.
Again, I mean no disrespect to Jana. It's wonderful that she answers the questions despite their lack of connection to the purpose of the "nicksfix." I'd just rather the questions were more connected to Jana as a performer, music in general, and of course, Stevie.

Applause applause applause. :wavey:
I agree, some of the questions have been lame. But I actually resent when she answers a question about Stevie... and her answer is "I don't know." Why bother? Answer the ones you have answers for.

Thanks. :) Oh, by the way, I'm a she.
Regarding her answering all the questions: I agree with you to a certain extent. However, her answers prove that she's reading the questions and that she cares enough to justify them with a response...even if it's not overly responsive.

I read the questions to all the the back-up singers when it first started but now it is very boring. I concur..I don't even bother to read what they have to say
And Jana is just too SWEET, and Happy- for me...
I like the darker sides not the little miss sunshine aspect she delivers-
But hey just my opinion...

i agree, too bad more people aren't like her. I have tons of respect for people who quietly set a good example.

Yes I agree it's not so much her answers, but the questions. Who really CARES about Jana Andersons' beliefs on world poverty? I dont.. As she said herself the original purpose of her doing this was to give people some Stevie insight...of course she hasn't done much of that either, so!

Thats easy to do for some.

At least the woman gives quality answers. She gets MAJOR props for actually doing what she agreed to do: take time out to answer the questions people ask. Unlike some other people.
Why is Doing the Best I Can subtitled "Escape from Berlin?"
Stevie: "The musical part of the song is kind of scary and it reminded me of having to escape from somewhere."
I have found your life to be so interesting. Will you ever be putting out a book of your life or at least some of our journal writings I have heard you speak of? I heard you say in an interview before " My life is a crack.. It's more fun to tell than it is to live..."
Stevie: Am I ever going to do a book? Probably, some day.
And when Stevie does give a lengthier response, a typical one is about shopping or perfecting her tambourine beating.
