The more songs I hear from this list, the more I wonder how they compiled it.. what's Greece doing in there?! The last song? Come on, must be better songs out there. Anyway, for now I'm going with Nicole & Ein Bisschen Frieden, because that's the first eurovision song I can actually remember, although I'm sure I've seen the show in years before that:D

Well, Waterloo won. Doh. Wouldn't have expected anything else. A bit snobby of them not to turn up though ;)

They are so over it. They can barely get Agnetha to appear at all in anything, especially for the documentary stuff they filmed for their DVD's.

come on people. am I THAT old? Apres-toi by Vicky Leandros was the best and most heartfelt song ever in that creepy competition.

Well, Waterloo obviously. Why the hell isn't it on the list?
But also Sandie Shaw's Puppet On A String and Bucks Fizz's Making Your Mind Up - classic.
I miss the days when Ireland used to win every year :(
Where's Johnny Logan when you need him?
Wasn't Buck's Fizz put together specifically for Eurovison? I know they did have a few U.K. hits in the early 80s after ABBA were no longer putting out records.

No no, I have to agree.

*But*, I wanted to vote for Celine Dion, thinking she was number 12 (I wasn't really paying attention, my beer was more interesting) and it turns out I ended up voting for Johnny Logan. Celine was number 11.

And he ended up third. I will never forgive myself.
