I wouldn't say that...
It makes us slaves to "instant gratification" and "greedy little bastards", is what it does.
You're welcome, David.:D
If only Yousendit would be as quick as our need to instant gratification, grmbl!

YouSendIt has been a pain in the arse lately; it times out quite a lot. But it's free, so I can't complain much.
After my storage garage flooded last week, I brought most of my master reel CD's home, so if anyone wants anything in particular, I might have it and can upload it. :wavey:

Well, at least that's what my kindergarten teacher always said. That and to stop talking during story time.

I was thinking of posting the "Everly Brothers Cover Song Reel" with Tom Petty or the Blue Denim one.

The only master I have with any RAL soundboard stuff is from one of the Australian shows and it's only three or four songs, I believe. If you want me to post them, you could just ask me to, dear.

If you want me to post them, you could just ask me to, dear.I have them, but I think there must be some people who haven't heard them & they really rock! You can really crank them up in the car. If I'm not mistaken, they're from the Red Rocks taping. Unfortunately, it was damaged when my storage garage flooded, so I no longer have that one.

I can look through my Tusk reels for it. Some of those discs I've never even listened to, to be honest.

If I'm not mistaken, they're from the Red Rocks taping. No, yeah there's Red Rocks soundboard outtakes, but these two files just ... I don't know ... appeared ... mysteriously ... they sound to my untrained ear like mid- to late-period RAL Tour (in other words, from July to October). And nobody seems to know which venue/city they're from.
We NEED to find out. I don't like unsolved mysteries when it comes to soundboard recordings -- they make me jittery & nervous & give me waxy buildup.

Meh, I remember it was good for a listen, but it was so damned long (I think it's over twenty minutes) that it got very boring after awhile. She was trying to work the song out because she had just written the day before, or that's what she says.

You know what wouldn't the following tracks have made a great 1982 Stevie solo album: Julia, Sleeping Angel, Blue Lamp, Gold And Braid, Sanctuary, Lady From The Mountain, The Dealer, If You Were My Love...
Only eight tracks but then a lot of albums were only eight tracks long back then.
Feel free to add 'Starshine' and 'Baby Doll' to make it a perfect 10 tracks and I do mean perfect.
In fact, I think I will make this album with my iPod and a CD to share with friends. What to call it??
Richard B
10-20-2005, 06:52 PM
I'm tempted to do that myself. It's like the lost Stevie album!
How about just Lady From The Mountain? There has to be a title track afterall.
And we need to choose a Herbert Worthington cover picture too.
I want this album!
Edit: And what would the tracklisting be? I didn't think out the order of the songs.
You do the sequencing, I'll pick the Herbie photo and font. And I agree with Lady Of The Mountain as the title!
I had an afterthought: Bonus Track: Gypsy (Bella Donna Outtake)

Put "All the Kings Horses" on that list! I recently got that one and just love it! Yeah, the lyrics are a bit scratchy, but the melody and the way the chorus is put together is really fun. Leaves lots of room for jamming and vocal improv.
