This is why Stevie is a living legend. This song being performed so raw just cuts right through me when I hear it. It is so beautiful and powerful. I love it so much. Stevie should rework her big hit songs acousticly (esp. all those 80's over-synthesised tracks) and take it on the road along with a DVD, I know it would go platinum. Also, Lindsey's back up vocals and guitar are phenomenal. I could listen to this song over and over. Thanks for posting it again.

this is probably my favorite bit of music evah. simple, stunning, perfect.

Her intro to this is the cutest. Totally Stevie fashion. Not really remembering what happened. "We have never done this song before...well we did it many years ago...but in the form of a band" (or something) Plus what was mentioned about the Lindsey thing... She's too cute. Listening to it makes you feel like you're there. They should do it like that now or when they did the SYW tour...instead of dropping it. The guitar is just totally how it should be done, same with her voice. Just the two of them. Beautiful.

You should have seen the way Lindsey looked at her when she said that. He looked at her like "WTF are you talking about?" :lol: It was one of those cute Lindsey/Stevie moments.

Thank you for posting this! I just recently acquired this version (minus what she says at the end), and immediately fell in love with it. It is definitely my favorite version of Gypsy now! I knew it was from AHI, but wasn't sure what year, so thanks for clearing that up for me as well.

her voice does sound a little strained during the bridge, but the rest of the vocals, imo, are superb
