I could not find this CD anywhere...found it at Barnes and Noble. I asked this cute indie girl if they had it, and she said "Whos Ric Ocasek?" Fair enough...I said, well he's the lead singer of The Cars. I got another blank stare. I was like WTF? Anyway...

the album is not bad. Ocasek's voice is still sounding the same. I really like "Bet Your Bottom Dollar" which is track #2, its very "Cars-y". The last song "It Gets Crazy" is cool too.

Hey, I really like the Cars - what's the band work sound like, aside from the one Cars-y song? That was a lot of the greatness of the Cars is why I'm asking. Crap, now I totally want to put that on. Thank you! Cars <3.

Ocasek is cool...I think he plays all of the instruments, or most of them on the album.

Sorry babe I was jerkinnn................uh..........drinking a soda.

ANyway...uh the album is very flangey...lots of guitar hooks. Probably the closest thing to the "Cars" sound he's done in awhile.

Oh, I dunno, maybe not to pause and check the ledge while you're in the middle of your "soda" and maybe not attempt to type at such a time, either? I mean, i know I'm hot, but still.:lol:

I wasnt shootin off any knuckle children. Just kiddin about that. I was drinking a soda though. Check out that Ocasek album...if you like the Cars I'm sure you'll dig it.
