Every year between the 26th and 31st of December, a radio station here hosts the annual Top 2000. This event is mighty popular, and listened to by a few million people. Now, beforehand, we get to vote what songs we would like to be part of the Top 2000 best songs of all time. The top 3 is pretty much the same each year (Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody, Eagles - Hotel California and Deep Purple - Child in Time) but the rest changes, depending on what people vote.

Now, Fleetwood Mac is also on the voting list. As is one Stevie Nicks solo song, Stand Back. So, I want to ask you guys to all please vote, so we might be able to get Fleetwood Mac in the top 25 this year. Last year's highest position was #79 with Go Your Own Way.

Here's the voting site. You can vote with a minimum of 3 votes, and a maximum of 10. You can only vote for 2 songs per artist though!

I know it's in Dutch, so if anyone needs helps, just holler! :wavey: (On the last page, where you have to fill out your name and such, just put down your name and e-mail addy.)

I had no idea Blondie's "I'm Gonna Love You, Too" was such a recognized song over there. Props! :D

Oh is it that time again? Hehee, I'm heading over there :blob1:Yup, almost my favourite time of the year. Last year I got the DJ to read my song story. I'm very persuasive.

Done. Wow, there's a lot of songs on that list that would probably never be on lists here. Very cool. I voted for a bunch of Heart, too.

I voted! It was hard to pick just 10, though.

I voted for a bunch of Heart, too.Well, near the end you can add one song that wasn't on the list and that you think deserves to be there. So, all you Americans, add something that you think should be there...that should be interesting. Then it will be added next year.

aww, I was wondering what that said! I guess it's too late. I would've picked Edge, natch.

I love the tv shows with the pop quizzes, hope they'll do it like last year again. It was for The Doors' LA Woman, my dad's band of choice. When I was 17 I went to LA with a friend for the first time, and we rented a car, and the first night we drove around there, we kept playing LA Woman very loud. It was a blast...very fond memories. :D
