Hmm, I wonder if the person who made this questionaire was a liberal, or a conservative......hmmm.:rolleyes:

I started to answer these questions and then got peeved halfway through. It is obvious which answers are supposed to indicate whether one is a liberal or a conservative, but I disagree with whether or not those are fair options.
For instance, there is no indication that politicians who call themselves "conservative" are working to "reduce the deficit and national debt", and there is no reason why working towards those goals will have to be at odds with aiding indigent families.

These are just tired old labels, and they don't fit anymore. At all!

I got the 25% on liberal ethics...because I answered this one "All authority should be question by its nature" with a "yes".

Gotta say, I think it's a pretty horrible quiz. I understand the need to break things down into "A or B" scenarios for surveys like this, but some of them were just awful:

Socialism is about as close to communism as Republicanism is to fascism. Interpret that how you will.

Most governments in Europe (Germany, Britain, the Scandinavian countries, etc.) are socialist in many aspects.

If you don't really know what socialism is, though... what is your Republican ideology based on? It's important to be well-informed on what both sides of the coin are talking about and offering. You should do a little research on what modern socialism is all about. Interesting that I am classified a "Democrat".

The party designations seem rather off to me, not mention just being out of place among a chart of ideologies. Parties and ideologies are different things, and the designations for both parties seem to cut pretty wide swaths that don't make much sense. I think Rudy Giuliani might disagree with the Republican area not crossing over into social liberalism at all, for one.
