Did you see MacMan's "Hung Up" thread? A REAL high-quality version of the song had finally leaked.
It's actually an edit of the radio edit (yes, you read that correctly), but, still, it's not a tinny ringtone version or a choppy mp3 of pieced-together clips. :D

Ugh, do we have to give the fraud the gratification of manipulating people on the "real" Ledge? It seems the sole reason for this thread was to demonstrate how wrong she is to suggest Brian is not high-flying, adored. Duh. As he himself states, he needs no reassurance that he is highly regarded. But he has enabled someone who doesn't even post here to gain influence. Come on, think about it. I know you guys are saavy enough to realize that I am right and that rose.gypsy is a misguided liberal. I encourage you to resist the temptation to encourage such lame and frankly disturbing behavior!
Since rose.gypsy's alter ego is no doubt happily reading this, I will add one more thing. You may think you are hurting conservatives but it says something to me that you choose this route instead of logical argument and debate. Why is this? My guess is that you have a deep-seated psychological desire for control and derive pleasure from cruelty. It makes you feel better about yourself that you can manipulate and hurt others. Oh-so-superior to the "fools" that respond to you.
But you are kidding yourself. It is delusional to justify your cruelty as beneficial to your party. You give yourself a pass to hurt people in order for the "greater good." But I urge you to undergo some self-examination. This behavior is not indicative of superiority. It indicative of an unhealthy mind. Use the time you are currently spending to "cleverly" impersonate a crazy person to study your party's doctrine so that you are able to enter into the world of adult debate. Unless you find it challenging to justify your true beliefs in a straightforward manner? Hmmmm....

I'm sure there are some, but millions? Hardly. With there being a quarter of a billion people in the US, I'd say "millions" is a reasonable estimate.
If only "some" people shared the opinions expressed by rose.gypsy regarding homosexuality and morality, for example, then gays and lesbians wouldn't have to fight so hard for basic civil rights, and we wouldn't have to constantly hear politicians and religious leaders unapologetically calling us "sinners," "abominations," and other lovely things like that.
If there aren't millions of people who agree with the above judgements, then I want to know why there aren't more people refusing to vote for the politicians (and presidential candidates) who do.

Well, tens of millions voted not to extend rights to gay people who want to marry. Clearly it is fair to say that at least 5-10% of them did it because they think all gay people are sinners and are going to Hell, which is basic believe of every major organized form of Judeao Christianty  Personally, I think it is more like 50 percent of those voters.

Er, I feel like I'm the big white elephant everyone is talking about here. I was the one engaging rose.gypsy on the other board - but I can assure you all I never for a second thought she/he was serious. Nor was I being serious. I was laughing my ass off. I'm sorry if my engaging "it" was seen as negative against anyone here. I certainly didn't mean it that way. As I mentioned to someone afterwards, I had no inkling of the backstory on this troll (and yes, I certainly knew it was a troll); I was simply reading a thread as it unfolded, and for some reason, decided to bite. I rarely do when it's so obviously a troll. I didn't mean harm to anyone. I apologized and I apologize again. But honestly, I was reading it as A) someone so obviously either faking it, or B) wildly ignorant and misinformed. Sometimes I just feel the need to call someone on what they're saying, and that's what I did with gypsy.rose. As you may have noticed, she/he conveniently neglected to answer the posts where I asked for proof of what she/he was saying.
By the way, I do have an idea who gypsy.rose is. But whether I am right or not makes no difference. If I'd known the backstory, I wouldn't have engaged. Again, I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

Totally - which is why I thought I knew who it was. It's some asshole. Big deal. I think dozens of people read the ledge but don't post. Why is everybody over there feeding on the bait? And of course you get your usual slew of people yapping about "don't feed the trolls!" all the while feeding the trolls themselves.
I must say, I was certainly happy to see that one or two people thought I was this asshole. That certainly gladdens my heart. That gave me just the oomph I needed to get up & get going today. The troll "witch hunts" -- in which people are pegged publicly & then seemingly tried & convicted -- are often as bad as, if not worse than, the trolling itself.

You a troll? Now that is funny!
