Hi Marty! The tool bar above the window where one writes posts (the one where you can change fonts and alignment and all that stuff) doesn't seem to be working for me...

Thanks again for all the hard work!

Just an idea, could that have anything to do with the browser you use? I haven't tested it yet, but it's the kind of thing I run into sometimes when I use Firefox (at my home pc)

No problems here at work, where I use IExplorer

(that was a test ;) )

That could very well be it, I do use Firefox.

In which case, why are you shilling for The Man, Marty?!?!?! Sell-out!!!!!! I'll never believe in anything again...

It could be the browser. I have used IE on a PC and a Mac and have had no problems. I did notice that the 'Supporting Ledgie' statement under usernames has vanished...I'll look into that.

Also, I would be interested in the opinions on more than one signature per page. I had supressed that in several Ledges in the previous Ledge version. Is that something that people like or dislike?

They do take bandwidth but I've understood that the bandwidth of the Penguin is so big now that it's not probably an issue to you anymore. However, there are still people who use large signatures so I'd find it better if it still showed only one signature per poster on one page.

*gets rid of his own big signature at the same time*

m & l,

i'm not able to post with attachments as before. there is no button on the 'attach files' of the 'additional options' on the reply to thread page.

is this a real problem or one unique to zero? i'm using firefox 1.0.4

best, zero

I like the one-sig per page option, since I'm on dialup.

No glitches so far - everything is working great. Loads much faster also.

And THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for turning on/adding the "Go To Page" feature. I can now read the long threads with ease. Which is awesome - I desperately need to know who the current "Hotties" are.

And as soon as I had typed my reply...

This is a screencap from the "Where do you stand..." thread in Chit Chat. Sparky's post is swallowing up everything below.

http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showpost.php?p=433024&postcount=54

He's posted code from some website or another, but a lot of others in the thread did also. Just a display glitch (?).

Howdy!

I seem to have a problem staying logged in. I go to reply to something and after it's typed I have to log in again. Other than that though everything looks great, glad to be back! :D

It would be helpful if people posted which Operating System and browser they are using too. mzero, I noticed that when I was on a Mac with IE, I did not see the attachment icon either. On a PC though, it is present. Perhaps you can revisit a post after it has been posted and add an attachment? LuckyCharms I would suggest deleting your browser's cookies...the Ledge will then issue you a new (tastier) one. You may have to log back into other websites though too. I don't know about yours Nixxxed. Please let me know the browser you are using.

I'm win98se, and Mozilla, and haven't experienced any problems.

THANKS MARTY!

Also, I think ONE sig per page is plenty. Ladybird Johnson got a law passed about too many billboards, didn't she? I think we should observe the law.

I want to read the posts. Not stare at the billboards. JMO.

I'm using Win98 with Avant 10.1 (Build 30). It's basically an IE skin, with added functionality. But I do have all the current IE updates.

That page is the only one that's freaky - everything after Sparky's post (all the way down past the Forum Jump pull-down menu) is showing up inside his reply's frame.

At home I have windows XP and Firefox 1.04. I can't use the editing options above the text field.

About the sigs: one per page is enough for me. Of course everyone can edit their personal preferences so they don't have to see sigs at all, maybe that's helpful for Nixxxed?

OOOOOHHHH! I'm now drooling(where's my drool cup?). You mean I don't HAVE to look at the billboards????
OH HAPPY DAY!!!!:blob2: :blob2: :blob2:

Sorry to those that love them. I see them as a waste of bandwidth.

Test.Yea! The editing opitions seem to be working for me now!:blob2:
Anyway I have AOL and all seems well now! Thanks.
As for the sigs I have dial-up and it doesn't bother me at all. I think that some of the banners are more interesting then the posts. ;)
