If Ben Affleck runs for office in my state, I will have a f*cking stroke. It's bad enough we're stuck with that wet noodle Thomas Reilly and that Coca Cola-defending rat Deval Patrick running against each other for governor.
I'd much prefer Matt Damon.

Just because he works for them, it doesn't mean that they're an upstanding company. How does your father feel about his company hiring mercenaries to murder union leaders in Colombia? At last count, Coca Cola had committed almost 180 major human rights violations and been involved in nine murders in Colombia alone.

It was a pretty good show tonight with Religion being the focus point...and some pretty good points were brought about making blanket statements against any group of people in a religion.
Ann was on at the beginning...I tell you...those two have such great chemistry! They crack me up every time...I can so seem them debating politics and then going out for drinks (which they do...)

He's funny. I disagree with what most everything the "lil' bastard" says, but he still has a great since of humor, and some great one liners (some of them he gets from Ann...even he will admit that)! I personally have never understood why, just because you disagree with someone, you can't like them!?! If two people like Bill and Ann can be good friends...then ANY TWO PEOPLE can be friends...

Anyway, since no one is talking about the show, I really enjoyed Salman Rushdie and found Andrew Sullivan's come to Jesus moment remarkable. Affleck's Bush impression was the only bright spot in his appearance. They are really going to have to groom him if they want him to be a viable candidate. And the soldier, I think her name was Kayla- what she said was shocking but unfortunately not a surprise to me. And I love how Bill kept saying Rove is going to be indicted. All in all, I thought it was one of the better shows this season.

I'll have to catch the rerun; I've been watching Newsnight most nights and forgot about Maher.
And I'm also going to send Aaron Brown some candy. He needs something to cheer him up, his stoic demeanor and obvious annoyance at everything is bugging the **** out of me lately. He's morphing into Wolf Blitzer and we just can't have that.

How far did you dig. I wanna know if they are paying all their employees at least $10 per hour and giving them complete medical and dental. Also, have they ever fired anyone for less than good cause. Finally, we need to examine their tax records to see if they are taking deductions considered not PC.
If so - we need to know this.

I enjoyed it too. But I am glad someone finally pointed out the fact that Bill ALWAYS makes blanket and rude statements about Christians as a whole...just because he had a bad experience doesn't mean that ALL Christians are the same...
Also I thought Ann brought up some rather interesting points about the entire Katrina thing and the "crazy things democrats say" about "blacks" just to stick it to the president...

It is quite uncomfortable to watch, to be perfectly frank. It's supposed to be a permanent thing now and I can just imagine Aaron having diva fits during the commercial breaks. I don't like how one stands up and one sits, it's just...odd.
