I keep reading on threads here and there that Stevie has moved from her LA home. I thought she "liked the coastal cities" ? Anyone know where this info is coming from? Is there an article about it somewhere?

She said in her letter about her dad dying that she bought a house in Malibu - maybe she moved there.

yeah- I just read that letter, but it didn't say anything about her "buying" a house. it just talks about being at that house on the ocean (which could be the same house she's had all along)

Thats the way I interpreted it also....that she was just talking about her same old house she's always had

She said in her letter about her dad dying that she bought a house in Malibu - maybe she moved there.Malibu's just a smidge up the coast from where she was (wasn't she in Pacific Palisades?).

I personally think Stevie should buy one of those utterly secluded mansions on the cliffs along the 17 Mile Drive south of Carmel. In fact, I'm thinking of that one monstrous & mysterious mansion that looks like a Gothic painting:

whaaaa? who said she lived in that house for about a year now? i think anyone could do the math and know that since TISL was released over 4 years ago that she lived there for over a year.... and if you look back at interviews from the mid to late 90s she talks about living in that same house... am i missing part of this conversation? i've read the thread over and over and i can't find what i seem to be missing. help me out here.

Is this info from an article or something? Everything I'm reading now seems to point that she's still in the same house in Pacific Palisades. I could see some people calling the Pacific Palisades area Malibu because the two areas are so close. I live in a city called La Mesa, but to people that are less familiar with it, I call it San Diego so they know where I'm talking about.

Here is her last mention of her Calif home. October 2003

"Well, here I am in Los Angeles, in Santa Monica, and right down by the ocean is just about the only place to be while our city burns," says Nicks, 54, in husky tones once memorably described as "four-in-the-morning f*** me". "What’s happening to California, all those fires, it’s terrible, terrible. I haven’t left my house for four whole days because I’m scared to go out. I’ve tried to seal it up. I’ve taped over my windows but they’re the old screw-out kind and I’m afraid the smoke is still getting in through the cracks. I suffer from asthma and for anyone with respiratory problems, this is a nightmare."

But I can hear the siren wail; LA is still burning. "It’s Topanga, so that smoke is coming over here. It’s Chatsworth, Stevenson Ranch and Simi Valley. People all over the city are sick so I’m getting out early."

Tomorrow she’ll fly to Frankfurt alone and wait for the rest of the band to join her there for the European leg of the tour. At 54, creature comforts for Stevie Nicks comprise her own bedlinen, her favourite pillow and a much-loved green armchair, but sadly not her Yorkie, Sara Belladonna, named after two big Nicks hits.

And with all the fires that have been going on here in Southern California recently I'll bet she's staying in Phoenix or is traveling.

I honestly don't know if she stilll owns that house in Pacifc Palisades but if someone has any facts about her purchasing a new house please share. I have yet to hear any evidience of that.

Let me decode this for everybody. Stevie had or has a house in PP. The idea of the Malibu house started a long time ago by Kelly with strong implications that she is sharing it with Lindsey, or will be. I don't care if I get flamed for this but a friend of mine on the net can look up residences bought and owned by just about anybody. It's legal. There is no record of a house in Malibu. It would be public record if one had been bought and would be available from this database. That's what I was told. When I've asked Kelly (like you all have) to elaborate on what she *says* she knows, I've gotten ignored and then flamed. So good luck in the asking. That's all I know.

The name of the owner would have to be public record, but the owner could be another name, like a trust  I am not saying it is as I do not know that or really anything about it. I am just saying that is possible and likely considering the value of that house for estate tax purposes.

My thought is, it is all public record (available to anyone with a computer, very easy to look up)...here are a few details of her phoenix house you might find interesting (I did not list the address!!!):

Major Property Characteristics
Square Feet of Living Space: 7,299
Lot Square Footage: 46,976
Covered Parking: 3 Car Garage
Unique Location Characteristics: None
Construction Year: 1983
Pool Square Footage: 750

Other Improvement Characteristics
Number of Patios: 6
Bath Fixtures: 22
Patio Type: Covered
Cooling: Refrigeration
Exterior Walls: 8" Stucco
Heating: Yes
Roof Type: Built Up
Physical Condition: Average

Tax Year: Full Cash Value (FCV): (2006)$1,586,500 (2005)$1,586,500 (2004) $1,534,500

2005 Tax Detail Assessed Tax: $12,057.46
Amount Due: $12,057.46

I am a little shocked that her house is listed in the public record as average Physical Condition. I guess it is over 22 years old.

Nope. Just public record.....I see where the confusion came from though, I said it was listed as average condition.. :o ....I meant listed in the public records that way...sorry about that....it used to be Above Average condition....

There is so much information available online on the entire Nicks Irrevocable Trust, her lawsuits, power of attorney, her mortgages, deeds and loans....everything, it's all right there! Totally public, totally legal for anyone to access!

Yes I heard this too but what I don't get is - why???
I know she spent a LOTTA money in the 70s but - it's not like she
hasn't made a pretty penny since then and it would be an investment -
the value would almost certainly go up over time. Frankly, her living there
probably wouldn't hurt the value of the house, either -
But, God bless her heart and I know she has a "practical" side to her -
but maybe business isn't Stevie's strong suit!
Why sink money into leasing when you can invest in a house that will
grow in value, though??? OH well, poets will be poets!

Only guessing of course but I don't think Stevie gives a you-know-what
about how much land there is or isn't. Who wants to hang in the back
yard when it's 116 degrees outside??? Besides that would be a pain
in the neck to maintain, groundskeepers or no. I have the impression
that's actually typical for Paradise Valley. A LOTTA rich people wanna
live in Paradise - so it starts to get a little crowded after awhile.
My Uncle's fairly well off for example and because of how expensive
his neighborhood in Califonia is, you wouldn't believe how small the
house is considering the cost, and there's essentially NO land.

No, actually most of the homes in her neighborhood range in value from 1.2 mil to 2.8 mil. The neighbor 2 houses down sold in 2003 (same size home with a guest cottage like hers) for 2.2 mil.

Most tax records show the full property value, the appraised property value and the assessed valued.

Comparing Paradise Valley and Mahattan is apples and oranges. The property values in PV are quite a bargin compared to other "over valued" areas of the country.

I don't really think of 7000 sq ft as a "mansion". I guess in my schema anything over 15,000 square feet is the bottom tier of mansion. I mean, my house is 6800 sq foot in a gated community (which means nothing, the guard only gives one a false sense of security...lol...those of you who live 'gated' know what I mean) and I definitely DO NOT live in a mansion.

I've asked about it before simply because I'm curious to know how the heck people even know she has brought a new house. Inside info? Digging online? It's not disbelieving... it's just asking for more info that's all

Good lawd! What on earth do you do with 6800sf? Do you have a Guatemalan village living there? You could give each Stevie Nicks solo album its own listening room!  . I suppose a gated community is to AZ as a doorman building is to NYC. My building technically has a doorman... but they're pretty much a rotating cast of minimum wage earners who don't recognize you from a hole in the wall and couldn't care; they'll let anyone through. Still, I wouldn't have it any other way; the city can be a scary place.

Anyway, I'm so shocked that Mama is such a modest mouse compared to Lindsey or even Christine. And one could arguably assume that she could buy and sell both of them many times over. That is, unless somehow it all went up through her nose during the 80's .

Oh I love when the Pink Elephants come out and trumpet their horns. Why all the fingerpointing and inuendo when everyone wants to know the same things, whether you will admit that openly on a message board or not.

Are Lindsey and Kristen divorced?

If so are he and Stevie back together?

Did he give her that ring so predominantly displayed on the today show, (or the one you didn't pay that much attention to on her right hand)?

Did Stevie move? Why? Where to?

Some people do care, some people don't. All will flame me for even asking the questions outloud. Especially the ones that want the information but don't want to get their hands dirty digging it all up. All of the arguing is pointless. Eventually one way or the other, everybody will find out.

I think it is cool to discuss it as they put it out there for all to see. They are the ones constantly talking about their lives and how they are so intertwined, the love affair on stage, etc. Moreover, LB's house was publicly listed for sale and it is a matter of public record.

I think people just get put off when a few around here take their extra board knowledge and assert it as fact. Many of those so called facts did not turn out to be true. Moreover some assert those extra board tidbits in a haughty manner, which no one really appreciates.

A separate issue is much of the ongoing speculation comes from things that happen on stage that some see one way and some another way. For example, the Landslide hug and occasional kiss - Some see any deviation from the rote performance as a sign of happiness or trouble - others do not get that at all and think it is just part of the act. Another is when FM dropped SS after the Atlanta show, some were convinced it was because K surprised LB by showing up with their new born child and then proceeded to hold her at the side of the stage in an effort to upset Stevie who in unprofessional retaliation dropped SS. Others say SS was dropped because La Nicks was having voice trouble, which was supported by Cory Buckingham and La Nicks did experience vocal problems after the Atlanta show to the point several concerts were postponed because of it.

Then people, like me, get endlessly flamed for saying I saw LB whisper you know I love you into La Nicks' ear at LB's soundstage taping. People have the nerve to tell me I did not see what I saw.

In the end, I think as long as people are mostly respectful, it is cool to discuss. But some cannot even abide that as they hate the thought of the discussion so much they just behave like a$$holes.

I have NO idea what you saw or didn't see, but what did
Stevie say to Lindsey when she half-turned her back to the camera???
'Cause I would SWEAR it was, "I'm still in love with you."

but assuming it's true - and I don't doubt you -
why did he do this on-stage, for all the world to see,

Unless it was Just Part of the Show?
Just to provide another point of view,
yeah, of course they love each other, always have, always
will - check out the "Frozen Love" lyrics, after all -
but c'mon, this is how they make their living.
Honestly, they were doing this stuff on-stage all the way back
in the 1980s. I love it, always have -
but this ain't exactly a new development. :distress: :p

Simple, true fact:
Stevie's a successful songwriter who, for the past 31 years,
has been making her living off of writing about love. Her own
personal experiences with it are a tremendously strong influence
on her songwriting, and she has enough brains to play on that
and to listen to the Producers and Directors who help her to
capitalize on that. Sorry to be kinda analytical and hopefully
logical here but maybe it helps to understand Stevie's songs
to remember that she's recently indictated that she has a
certain "practical" side in all this.

All of this is really easy to find on the internet. You don't even have to get your hands dirty. I just found it. The address you're talking about that they share is not a residence. Take it from me, I lived in LA most of my life. Nobody *lives* at that address. Peeps work there. All of it is public record. There is no divorce filed, there is an address for Stevie and one for Lindsey and the one that they have in common that is not a residence. The house that Lindsey owns shows another address as the owner's *other* address but that is an old record and is a different person. It took me 30 minutes to find all this out. To sum it up:
There is no divorce
Stevie and Lindsey do not live together and didn't buy anything together

For the record, I don't have any loyalty to his wife so I don't care if he's f**king around or if it's with Stevie. But I just think it's stupid to make up sh*t and have a 6 page thread about it when the answers are boring as hell. Flame away.

Stevie has said publicly, many times, that she lives with Chris, Jessica
and Lori in Phoenix. They have one wing of the house, and she has
another. (The only reason I phrase it like this is I want to convey
that she's been very public about it, and so wouldn't consider it to
be something she wants kept private.) There's an awesome pic.

From what I have heard Chris lives in the guest house, Lori and Jessica live in the main house. The house really doesn't have "wings" because it is not a split floorplan. It is relatively the same design as many of the other homes in the community, meaning the "living areas" downstairs, the bedrooms upstairs with the exception of the small guest bedroom/bath on the first floor.

From June, 2001 Sonicnet interview...kudos to the Nicksfix

Sonicnet: Do you think you'll always feel like a gypsy, or do you find yourself being more inclined to stay in one place?

Nicks: I don't think the gypsy part will ever go away. When I was little we moved every two years, so that kind of nomadic life is just what I was used to. I have a house in Phoenix, I rent a house here in Los Angeles, and I go to a hotel sometimes just because I like to move. I don't think that part of me will ever change. If I'm in a bad mood I'll get up and go somewhere, because I can always get out of that if I just change my environment. So where other people would turn to a really strong, straight glass of vodka, I get in the car and go somewhere.

To simply say that Jessica is living in CA is such a general comment. CA is a pretty large state, after all.

No, Kel, there are not. Lindsey has a string of addresses or properties, one which has a chick's name next to it. It's not Stevie's name. He has one residence. Stevie has another. The Century is an office building. The listings are all under a *trust* name. Not hard to find out. But there is not one property they own together.

The problem is the principle of making an effort to respect
Jessie's privacy and how Stevie, Chris and Lori would feel about this.
Getting the address is child's play, as has been recently established here.
Kinney has been contacted by multiple people and you'll be hearing from
him quite soon, I believe. Please respect Jessie's right to privacy.
She's a minor. The issue isn't saying that she lives in a certain place,
it's saying that she IS at a specific place at a specific time.
Please listen to me - there are CRAZIES out there.
There are people out there who would kidnap Jessie in order to try
to "Save her Soul" or some such thing. There are people out there
who think they are "in love with" Stevie who will do crazy things to
get her attention or whatever. Or for the money.
Even if the odds are in reality low -
why take chances? When we can simply be courteous,
and respect a minor's right to privacy. And I'm not trying to be a
party poop or a jackass - I'm just saying, please try to see this
from a different angle, and try to consider how Stevie herself
MIGHT feel about it.

Once upon a time there was a tiny, tiny chicken named Chicken Little. One day, Chicken Little was scratching in the garden when something fell on her head.

"Oh," cried Chicken Little, "the sky is falling. I must go tell the king."

I'm confused... did someone post an address or something? I don't see what the big deal is. BTW, Jessica Nicks could be on the moon for all I care... she's number 4,239,837,831 on my list of priorities and things to worry about.

I heard she had to pee badly but couldn't make it to the building in time, so she squatted under the stage with Jana posted outside as the lookout while Sharon did the soundcheck for Stevie by singing Landslide. Maybe that's what got Matt's goat. Katie was just trying to tell him that woman aren't like men, they can't just whip it out and do their business.

Flame away.

A. You can establish a trust in a state other than the one the real estate is held.

B. There is no way to know what any person would name a trust they establish. They can choose whatever they want. So, to imply you searched all possible names is impossible....Stevie, Lindsey or anyone else could have Trusts established that you cannot find online.

C. Plenty of people do not even use lawyer's to create a Trust..they use an accountant, a banker or they could even do it themselves.

Gosh, I feel like I am missing something here....I have read all the pages of this thread and I am still sitting here scratching my head....

All I can gather is someone is saying they have information, but not sharing any details or (confirmations if details would be too disclosing). Yet, the people on the forum are chasing this carrot being waved in front of them....but there really isn't anything there...so I just don't get it....its like everyone is chasing a "ghost through a fog".....or did I miss something???

As far as the trust goes...I told everyone in my post how to find the trust name, then I was told not to post the link to the public record site, because there are crazy people out there, crazy people who are not internet savy, and on one hand I agree with that (which is why I pulled it), but on the other hand if someone is that crazy and obsessed all they have to do is stand at any street corner in Paradise Valley and say "hey where does Stevie Nicks live?" and anyone would tell you.....same goes with California....her name and address is on the "star maps".....

What am I missing here? Can someone set me straight because I can't see what all the hub-bub is about....

personally... I don't want or even have any NEED to know the answers to the questions that have been asked of the person dangling the carrot... the things i have posted are more to challenge the ridiculous claims she has made. i know that she doesn't know what she's talking about, much of what she has posted is wrong, and i find it somewhat amusing that she continues to post these silly things she has fabricated. who knows? maybe someone is pulling her leg and telling her these stories just to watch her post it, thinking it's true, and have all of us call bullsh*t on her. if that's the case, she needs to reconsider her source.

I have it on pretty good authority, however, that she recently bought this duplex in Garden Grove:

http://www.pspottawa.forces.gc.ca/shh/images/SHHO-Duplex-Front.jpg

This baby is gonna jump up in value.

This house was posted some time ago as being a place that Stevie bought in order to try to help Katrina refugees - for them to have a place to stay.
Obviously this one small place wouldn't solve the entire problem but I think it's more like she felt she "had to do something."

With the L.A. house, I'm only speculating, but I believe that her Dad bought a house some time before he died - she's mentioned it in interviews and said that it's "just a short distance" from the house she had been renting in L.A. (the one featured in In Style magazine). I think maybe that's the house she's moved into. It's my opinion, personally, that her Dad never really planned to live there - I could picture him feeling that it was "time for her to have a healthy change," and moving can sometimes be a good, healthy thing. Simply for the change itself, if for no other reason. And two blocks away or whatever isn't exactly across the world. My understanding is that it's larger, also, and I would imagine that it still has pretty awesome views of the ocean, etc.
