What if, for whatever reason, Stevie and L.B. got back together again romantically. (I know he's married w/ kids, happy, etc). But what if - would this be a good thing? How would you react? :blob1: ?? or  ?? or

So you know:
many feel they are together and will not present evidence publicly.
many feel they mess around from time to time but LB is still happly married
many feel they have no romantic involvement at all.
The three groups usually cannot discuss this topic in any kind manner. So, get ready for WWIII

many feel they mess around from time to time but LB is still happily married
The only problem I have with this theory is that I can't imagine him being happily married if his wife KNOWS (and you know she would) they mess around from time to time.
I think sometimes even in the way they act on stage, no way in he-ell I would put up with my husband acting like that with his ex-girlfriend!
On the other hand, it is probably the one I feel to be most true. But if it is no way is he "happily" married.

Obviously, the day that this happens would be the day that the stars line up to form a red arrow and the sunlight kisses the treetops with the utmost care and passion. We would no longer have reason to fear the day of reckoning, for the heavens will have opened up for all of us to spend eternity in a heart shaped cloud with angels feeding us grapes whilst we fan the happy couple on their giant yacht.

I don't have the exact quote right now, but Stevie recently
remarked that this will happen "Over my dead body."
It seems to me that they've kind of resolved things into
a close friendship. In fact I heard that Lindsey performed
Landslide with her at the memorial service for her Dad,
and it's my belief that that's true. I think they probably
(especially Stevie) feel very emotional and in love while
they're on-stage together, for example on "Soundstage."
Then they get in their limos and go home.
If you've read Mick's book, you know why.
It just can't be overlooked, from either end.
But they'll always be able to reach each other.

Uh, Stevie made the dead body comment in 1997. Here is a more recent comment, from Mojo magazine from an interview in Sept. 2003.
"he is my love, my first love, my love for all time, but we cannot be together...because he is married. The way he is now with his kids, it just knocks me out, I look at him and just go "Oh Stevie, you made a mistake". Slightly different than over my dead body.
BTW......the beating around the bush with LBs marriage is nuts. Kristen was edited completely out of his soundstage for some reason. She wasn't even thanked at the end. Lindsey thanked her at the end of the Dance dvd, when she was just his girlfriend. Those who were there at the taping know what I am talking about. Of course there are those who will reply and say he is still happily married, that is the nature of this board.

Yeah, Kelly my thoughts on that exactly. I don't know if he and Stevie are together but as for him and Kristen, well I would have to say no. Based on the Soundstage editing because I know for a fact she was at the taping 2 years ago. Something definitely happened for him not to acknowledge Kristen.

There's some shocks in there.
It really did get that bad.
Not for the squeamish - literally.
But - Lindsey claimed in at least one interview -
sorry, I don't know where but it's easily findable
through his website - that what Mick claimed just
simply wasn't true. So one of 'em was lyin'.
In a recent interview - which is very easily
findable although I'd rather not say where -
Stevie took some of the blame for it, or at least
indicated that she wasn't exactly passive in what
happened. If I seem to be beating about the bush?
Do the math.
Overall, it seems to me that they consider this all to
be "water under the bridge," and they've forgiven each other.
Enough so that they can now be friends - but that's about it,
I believe, at least for a while. Sorry if this bursts any bubbles,
but they've actually been pretty public in the last couple of
years about the "goings-on," in interviews etc.
And yes, that's just my interpretation of things, I could
be wrong.
Now that, I believe, is enough to start World War III.
But - I hope it won't.
Let's be Peacemakers instead.
My only opinion on it is -
Somebody shoulda called the cops.
I don't understand why they didn't,
except that I think maybe they were pretty floored and shocked,
and also maybe that's just not something that would even have
occurred to them, in that "culture."
And thank you, John McVie.
And Mr. Nicks would have. And there's never an excuse.

Anyone who was there, did he thank her at the actual taping, and then it was edited out of the final product? Or did he just neglect to thank her at all?

I read Rumours Exposed. Haven't read Mick's book ( My Life w/ Fleetwood Mac??) Is it any good? Better than Romours?Yes, much better than Rumours Exposed. Rumours Exposed is a 100 percent rehash of all the last decade's worth of articles, whereas Mick's book is about 70 percent rehash of a much wider body of articles, the other 30 percent being narrative formulated by Mick & his ghost writer. Much better read, all in all.

He mentioned her and then thanked her. He also dedicated a song to her, which I believe was GYOW, which people equate as a slam to her. But, I was there and his eyes and mannerisms did not equate to slam due to the content of the song. But, people can take it whatever way they want.
As for LB and K still being married (it was widely publicly rumored awhile back that LB had filed for divorce - thus the selling of the dream house) - to my knowledge, there has been no filing for a divorce, which would be a public record. That, of course, does not speak to a separation, which requires no public notice.
In the end, people will speculate - so be it.

Have you checked Lindsey forum about this topic? The new house has already been dissected. Even if I doubt you have seen how it's inside, at least that's on the market too or Mr Buckingham has discovered the dubious appeal of web (or tv) reality shows. ;)
By the way about the Lindsey-Stevie thing, love relationships and their effects keep their mistery and I don't even try to understand the dynamics involved between these particular two rockstars. Whatever is the truth I hope it's the best thing for both.

I wanted them to sing and make music together again, and I was thrilled to have that happen. I wouldn't enter into wishing for anything else.
I think my romantic attachment to them as a couple always had to do with their sound of their voices, and the story. The fact that they were unable to stay together, but unable to get away from each other fit very well with my childhood fascination with Medieval ballads and legends (Tristan and Iseult, L'Morte D'Arthur) and their hair and outfits helped feed that little fantasy.
Some musical couples belonged together till death (June Carter Cash & Johnny cash) and some should have kept singing together (Richard and Linda Thompson, and some are singing together again.

Interesting topic. If somebody is cheating on his wife, is that guy happily married? If the answer is no, then I don't think he is. If the answer is *could be*, who knows. He's not messing around with Stevie tho. I don't know who she has in her life now but I get a feeling about Waddy? I just don't see Stevie and Lindsey hooking up in a romantic way but him being happily/unhappily married is a whole other thing. For the record, I don't think it's the happily married choice.

One little side bar on this -
"Beauty & the Beast" ain't about Lindsey - no?
Before she sung it at every show on this past tour,
Stevie said, very clearly, "Mick!"
Even at the show or shows that he went to.....
Right smack in front of him.
Coulda been "misdirection" I admit but . . .
"My love is a man who's not been tamed. . . .
Oh...my love lives in a world of false pleasure and pain.
We come from different worlds...we are the same (my love)
I never doubted your beauty."

I'll bite on this one. There has been a lot of discussion about BATB and Mick here but it doesn't matter how many times Stevie says Mick's name before the song, if she dedicates it to him on an album or if she says in an interview that the song was written about/for him. Some peeps still believe it's about Lindsey. They think everything is. If Stevie had sighed Lindsey's name before BATB at those shows, it would have been legit. But not Mick. Coz he's not hawt I guess? Yep, I agree that it is about Mick. Stevie said so and she seemed to want everybody else to know it in Vegas. Including Mick. I think the day Stevie and Lindsey hook up again is the day pigs fly, bears stop shi**ing in the woods, hell freezes over, and I actually get a tan. I'm almost albino.
