I used to cheer for the Red Sox (Still somewhat a fan, just a bigger Yankees fan)...
Btw, The Indians are leading 1-0 top of the 7th, The Yanks are leading 7-2 top of the 6th...So for now the Red Sox are still alive no matter the outcome of this game.

The White Sux won 4-3 and the Yanks are leading 8-4 in the top of the 9th, So if the Yanks hold the lead the Yanks are the AL East Champs, And the Red Sox have to try to win the game tomorrow to just make the playoffs as the Wild Card (Unless there's a tie between the Red Sox and the Indians which would result in a 1 game playoff for the Wild card spot.)

I don't know what I want. Indians-Yanks ALDS or Yanks-Sox ALCS. Because we'd have to play Anaheim in the first round in the Sox make the Wild Card. I think we can beat the Angels tho.

they would be tied....But MLB didnt want to see a 3 way tie (Which could have happened if all 3 teams had finished with identical records) for the Wild Card between the Yanks, RedSox & Indians, So today's game was basically to see who would be the AL East champs.
The Red Sox are left with little options:
"Because of the Indians' loss, the defending World Series champions can do no worse than a tie for the AL wild card - news that got a medium-sized cheer when it was announced on the Fenway scoreboard.
If Boston loses on Sunday and Cleveland wins, they will meet at Fenway Park on Monday to decide the AL's last playoff berth. If Cleveland loses on Sunday, the Red Sox get the wild-card berth no matter what they do."
The Red Sox need the Indians to lose tomorrow, Simple as it gets....Or otherwise it makes their World Series win seem somewhat a fluke.

I am a Cubs fan...True and blue.
If/when we get to the World Series I want either the Red Sox, the Yankees or the White Sux....It will be sweet to win it all at Wrigley!
It will happen, trust me...It will!
Kinda funny, I was a major Red Sox fan when I was younger and had absolute unbrideled hatred for the Yanks...But thanks to the Yanks thumping the half-ass Braves (If they went bankrupt tomorrow I wouldnt miss 'em) in 2 World Series I am now a Yanks fan....And I owe it all total dislike for one Mr. Ted "Where's my lithium" Turner (I love watching his 'then' team choke yearly when it mattered...made me feel warm & fuzzy inside, even felt a tear in my eyes, Ah yes Ted, TBS is very accurate-The Braves Suck!!!! )

Would be great if that joke stadium where the Sux play in would be imploded....Preferably with the whole damn Sux organization and their all trash/thug fans in it (Hey White Sux fans, We may have lost "fairly" to Detroit in our last World Series appearance in 1945...Unlike your team who THREW the series in the 1910 Black Sux scandal.)

Right now I havent decided who will make it from the AL to the Series (I feel the Yanks will be playing those of so lovable BoSox in the ALCS, which is fine by me) but I'm sure the Cards are the team (Once again) to beat from the NL (Hopefully they wont collapse like they did last October...But it remains to be seen.)
I hope the Cubs beat the Astros tomorrow and the Phillies win against the Expo, err I meant the Nationals...Cause then the Ass-Tro-holes will have to go to Philly for a 1 game playoff for the Wild Card in the NL...And hopefully get sent packing back to Texas for the season.
