Worst Birthday Ever [Archive]

Today is my worst birthday ever. First, i arrived at work and the other doctor was telling me I may need to cut back my days for a while due to his divorce taking major $$ that was usually used to pay me. Second, after work, I went to the parking lot where my NEW 2005 Acura TL that I got 6 weeks ago was sitting all day. I was toldiIt was vandalized ("criminal mischief") throughout the right side doors, front panel, and rear by some potheads driving into it with a shopping cart propelled by their vehicle. So what a great 30th birthday. It is almost over thank the lord.

I need a little sympathy....

Oh, Steph. That really sucks - all the more since it was your birthday. Sorry it was so crappy. Sounds like you need to RE-celebrate it all weekend long. Got plans? Make 'em!!!

I'm so sorry it was ****ty. You're 30th is supposed to be crap anyway without all this stuff happening. So, go have a coctail, and try to enjoy the rest of the weekend!

ya should've found the potheads and done some "criminal mischief" on 'em with a tire-tool and a billyclub....Then dump what was left into a shopping cart and plow into it with yer vehicle.

Stupid people keep multiplying, the smart ones keep dying...

Eh, it was going to be a bad day anyway. On the bright side, you can tell all those people who were trying to feed that "oh, 30 isn't so bad" BS that YOU told them it was going to be an awful day, AND YOU WERE RIGHT!!!

I feel your pain about having something awful happen to a car you've had for all of six weeks. I had a Honda CRV for all of six weeks, until there was a deer in the middle of the road. I swerved to miss the thing, and ended up rolling over my damn SUV. Luckily, I walked away with only scratches, but it totally sucked.

Still, there are worse days. Being sent to prison. Joining the ranks of the homeless. Finding your dog on the side of the road with his/her legs in the air. Having to eat dinner with Ann Coulter. Really, the list is endless.

Wow, Stephanie.... sounds like maybe it wasn't such a good day after all. :( I agree with Cat, make other plans this weekend to try and make up for it. Maybe you could still get some good memories out of this birthday! :)

Aw, that sucks! Hopefully things have turned for the better for you. If it makes you feel any better, my worst birthday consisted of my (ex)boyfriend buying me tupperware, a feather duster and a plastic swan. And my birthday lands on Valentine's Day. :shocked:

You should just make a week from now your birthday. Start over and redo 30. Today cannot be the birthday you know!
