I think she prefers it that way... She doesn't suntan cuz she knows it ruins your skin.. Although I gotta say, she has more color in her face these days than say 10-11 years ago.. I swear she was never whiter than during the "Street Angel" tour...

I also must add I'm so glad she wore that outfit rather than the all black one. I think the boots looked fantastic with the cream skirt..I love that outfit. Although I'm aware it's not "new" it's better than the black dress with the "worm" imprint on the skirt as I call it lol

There's no excuse for not untilizing the many fake tan products out there! They don't all make you look like a carrot. :laugh:

I got one of those spray tans where you stand almost bare ass in a shower stall and it looked great. Lasted less than a week, but still! :laugh:

I don't like the extremely tanned look much, either, but I like a little bit of color. It beats me how people can sit out in the sun because they're just going to look like a dried up old ball sack later on in life. A lot of times when I see extremely pale people, though, I automatically think of "The People Under the Stairs." :laugh:

I agree. I don't get what everyone's obsession is with tans these days. I think it is beautiful to have fair skin, such as Stevie's. Although, I don't tan easily (I burn), so of course I'm going to say that!

Ack, no! Katie looks like an oompa-loompa, for heaven's sake! Self-tanners just suck, IMO. They smell like chemicals and if you ever read the supermarket rags, 90% of the young Hollywood girls use them and look so bad.

I'm as fair as Nicole Kidman, and while I'd like some color, I'm not going to ruin my face or use self-tanner (both for the reasons listed above and also because they break me out).

I like Stevie's creamy complexion!

This is only sort of related to topic, but i cant find any info.... did she have a hip replacement at some point?? That can cause a limb length issue

As far as I know, she took a little tumble down the stairs during the filming of the Peacekeeper music video and had mobility problems for the first leg of the SYW tour. She seems fine now. And I don't think one of her legs is longer then the other. Just a bad angle or something.

Back in the day...like 18th century WAY back; a tan was considered a "mark" of lower class, as only the working class had to be out in the sun all the time. The wealthy class showed their wealth via the paleness of their skin. Though some were a pale white as pale white could get, make-ups of those days gone by were powders to increase the pale shade. Funny how in todays world it's he or she with the bronziest skin wins (then dies of Melanoma).

I am a strawberry blond (naturally), so I usually burn first a little then turns into a tan, but I am mostly fair skinned. I never had the patience to just lie on the beach to get baked.
