I am a big dork and I wear my Stevie clothes every year. :o It's the only chance I get! So I will probably look the same as I did last year, minus the really bad roots  It could double as a witch costume, I suppose. I think I may go to a ballet store and get a new skirt this year though.

Oh yay! I'm glad she got it. Does she love it? I just tried on my costume and ran around the house with the cape flying. I scared poor Mufy! Haha. It fits perfect and looks awesome. This is going to be so fun! My roommate laughed her butt off at me, but agreed that I am .

Beautiful. Claudia wears hers with a witch hat, it does make a good witch costume if you want to wear it that way. If you're wearing it as Stevie I recommend the tambourine, too fun!

Why thank you. :o It is a very forgiving cut with the seaming it has. It is actually very well made, although it is 100% pure polyester! :] I need to stay away from flame, and even heat while wearing that thing!

No pics because no makeup and bare feet. But I will probably post after I wear it. Or maybe I'll do a trial run photo shoot. Haha! I also want to see others in their costumes! Halloween rocks.

I know, but I loooooove it.
Actually, my now favorite is the Trident gum commercial. It's of an onion who is watching TV and he sees something about the gum killing bad breath or whatever, and he turns it of. Then, his phone rings and you hear "Dead onion say what" and of course he says "Whaaat?". And then the Trident gum slides under is door, and the onion blows up. It rocks.
I might make that part of my sig...

Oh Suzy, that is SO cool! I could just see Mufy running for his life, too! Lauren absolutely *loves* her costume, and it is even prettier in person than it was online in the photo. It came with beautiful wings and a halo, and it even has silver glitter all over it ~ she can't wait for Halloween!

My pleasure ~ it's a great site! I had no idea it existed before, and I really like it...the prices are reasonable. And it's so wonderful to just click and buy it, and not have to go to the store, wait in line, etc., etc.! It's called Halloween Mart ~ here's the link:
http://halloweenmart.com
Don't wait too long if you plan on buying, as Suzy told me, these costumes sell out quick, the closer you get to Halloween! Thanks for the link again, Suzy! :xoxo:

I did the tamborine bit several years ago. It was fun! Now all I do on Halloween is go trick or treating with Olivia, so I leave the tamborine at home. I usually end up carrying her candy or half her costume!

Oh how adorable you are!
Being a fat, tall red head, I cannot pull a Stevie. Halloween is big pizza night so I haven't seen that night in like 7 years. Too bad, the day after is my birthday! :-(
Last year I was very close to being Eddie from AbFab. I worked too late and Booboo ( RIP * my cat) was sick.

You as Eddie would make me DIE. Last year I was Karen Walker (of Will & Grace). I walked around in a suit with my hair done up, a fake diamond, bottle of liquor, and a "Hello My Name Is Anastasia Beaverhausen" nametag. I loved it. This year, I'm either going to get my Lynda Carter going and dress as Wonder Woman or a Greek goddess (we're either having a goddess theme or a superhero theme apparently).

Your costume from last year sounds hilarious! Good one. The site above has some goddess costumes too, I almost got one of those myself.

Riss you would look extra gorgeous as Wonder Woman. I hope you guys go with the super hero theme.

Don't have any pics, but I know I will dress up. I will wear one of two costumes:
A) A black, white, and burgandy pirate dress with big heels, accessorized with a big ol' hat with lots of feathers, a whip (or two), leather bondage cuffs, and a dagger or two (or maybe I'll buy a cutlass to go with it)
B) A black, white, and burgandy pirate outfit with pants, a vest, and big ol' boots - with the same accessories as the other.
They're really my Renaissance Faire costumes, but with as much money as I've spent on them, it would be a shame to only wear them to the Fair.

Eddie would be a GREAT costume... you need to find a Patsy... maybe some tall guy in drag!
Sorry about Booboo... my cat Luna died about the same time last year. :(

BTW, WildintheWind, where the heck did you find sleeves like that???
.
I actually sort of made that shirt. I started off with a plain black tank top, and I sewed the chiffon on for the sleeves. Usually when I try to make something it sucks, but this one turned out quite well. Chiffon is so hard to work with when you don't have a sewing machine. It's so damn thin and you need a teeny tiny needle.

Thanks! That was my favorite Stevie custome I ever came up with. I really want to ditch the Kiss-like vinyl boots and get some more Stevie-ish ones, but they aren't cheap!

On Halloween, I like being a movie character or a famous tsunami scientist. This year I think I'm going to be Kenji Satake, who played an instrumental role in the study of the 1700 subduction quake & tsunami.

Vampires are sexy. There are alot of cool vampire custumes out there. Check out www.trashy.com if you like trashy custumes. I haven't looked through many of them yet, but my boyfriend was kind enough to point me to a website of slutty custumes. Imagine that!

Or you could combine scientist/ movie character: Jeff Goldblum has played some great scientist characters, and there is always Christopher Walken in "Brainstorm"
Or I could be quiet and let you plan your own costume, as you were already doing.

For parties, I'm going as Edie Sedgwick. I just need to toussel my hair and paint my eyebrows a little thicker, and do my makeup really mod. But for trick-or-treating, I'm dressing up as Courtney Love, circa 1994. One of my friends is going as Kurt Cobain, one as Trent Reznor, and one as Marilyn Manson. 90s flashback. Etc.
I went as Debbie Harry a few times. That went over well. I also went as Gwen Stefani for a dance, but my wig wasn't really great. I could use the wig for my Edie costume. Hm..
