I? Don't find this weird at all.
As I browsed this site I repeatedly yelled "Cute!" in my highest, squeakiest possible voice.
But then... I'm a little obsessed with the little guys myself.
Here is a photo of the best rat that ever lived, Gordon (R.I.P. 2001-2003) who, unlike a certain zoo penguin in another thread, never wavered in his love and devotion to his boyfriend, Curious George. :xoxo:

What can I say? I'm a little predictable. If anyone makes any mention of rats you can put money on it that I will have to say something.
I used to take Gordie to work with me every single day and let him run loose on my desk (I work at a vet hospital). He would tear up my paperwork and build nests with it and occasionally pop his head up to greet the clients. Nearly everybody liked him, and he actually was responsible for converting several employees and clients into rat lovers like me.
The day I had to put him to sleep, the doctor was crying too. :(

LMFAO!
For a brief period of time, VH1 had a show called "Totally Obsessed" and this freak was on it. OMFG.
There was also a lady who was so totally obsessed with the color pink, that she dyed her white cat "Cotton" pink and calls him "Cotton Candy."
