If it looks like a bear, and smells like a bear....

I only know one straight guy who likes musicals and even knows who Judy and Liza are, let alone has their music.

I just can't get over the irony of the overlap. I find it hysterical.

If you only have one straight friend who even KNOWS who Judy is...then you have culture-deprived friends.

I'm well aware of the stereotype but it doesn't stop my liking Judy or Liza. I think they are wonderful talents and I refuse to back down from that just because someone might "think I'm gay"...WHO CARES?

Once someone finds out I'm an ultra-right-wing-Ann-Coulter-loving-conservative...

I would think they would shut up.

Me, shut up ?

As if.

I can't help but comment on the irony of a male ultra right winger with the musical taste of a 55 year old drag queen. It is too friggin' rich to not enjoy.

Anyone can see the humor in the contrast.

I suppose so. But I can't help the kind of movies and/or music I like. I really do enjoy EVERYTHING...all types...so...

Just the album covers, right, not the contents? Hm, that's harder than it seems. When I love a record, the cover is associated with it

My mother makes photo's like this. Well, not exactly like this, she's no Anton Corbijn, doh! But close-ups of nature.

Great choice! I have always loved this one. So jungle. So tango. So inspired. So Rousseau.

I have the promo poster to this album, framed and matted and it sure sets a tone in a room. I think I like the little UFO flying in the best.

Another example of cover matching the music inside. It took me the longest time to really "see" what the cover was. I first bought the LP, and stared at the individual elements trying to figure it out. Then, when I bought the CD a few years later I was still in LP mindset, not really seeing what I was seeing. One day I was rearranging my CDs, and this one fell on the floor, and I finally saw the image as I was glancing to see which CD had fallen.

With all of the parallels in Peter Green's & Eric Clapton's careers, then they both come out with album covers that are similar. I wonder if Eric realized how similar his Pilgrim album cover actually WAS to Peter's Little Dreamer album cover? (if you look closely, Peter's face is in the ripples of the water on his album, too)

That's the problem with small photos...on the original 12" x 12" album cover, it is plain as day.

 So, you can't see it on the posted pic? I'm not trying to call you a liar or anything.

And it's exactly the opposite on the Ministry album I posted. When it's big, I tended to focus on the detail rather than the whole.
