Was legally married once. (2 points here) is a legit "divorcee."
( wanted to ask, is her fav # really 3, or was that a result of BD hitting the 3 million mark in sales? That's why I always thought she favored the #, and had the necklace made. Didn't think from the get-go of life it was a fav. # ????)
Oh yea, and can't program her VCR for the love of all that is Holy.

Oh...the doctor looked up her nose during RAL, said "you could have a brain hemorrhage, and it could be the very next time you do coke, and it won't be pretty, and it won't be nice, and it will be painful." So then she realized she was going to have to stop doing drugs, or else she wouldn't be alive to "Rock a Little" anymore. :D

Stevie has tremendous stage fright and likes to have a shot of brandy just before going out onstage ( can anyone confirm that this ritual is still taking place?- I read it in the TISL interviews )

ooh, really? never knew that. does anyone have a quote?
learn something new everyday!
From BAM Magazine, September 1981:
"BAM: I can't spot many specific influences in your songwriting. Who were you listening to when you started writing a lot?
Stevie Nicks: Well, I've written for years and been influenced by lots of people, but I guess the stuff that really go me was Joni Mitchell's early songs. I learned so much from listening to her. In fact, I probably wouldn't be doing this if it hadn't been for her. It was her music that showed me I could say everything I wanted to and push it into one sentence and sing it well. Ladies of the Canyon taught me a lot. I remember lying on the floor, listening to Joni's records, studying every single word. When she came out with a new album I'd go crazy--"Don't bother me this week. I'm listening to Joni Mitchell."
BAM: The inspiration was more attitudinal than actual?
Stevie Nicks: Right. I didn't want to play music like her. I couldn't if I'd wanted to--I can't play the guitar worth ****, and Joni's a great player.'
I didn't even know she KNEW that word!!!

OH-kay, so here's some MORE! :)
She works out on a treadmill and does Pilates to keep in shape.
She's REALLY strong, physically.
She KINDA likes to TWIRL, just a wee bit. . . .
She has some sort of vision problem and can barely see the audience
on stage, due to the bright lights.
ANY guy in her house is banished to the front of it when she's swimming
in her swimming pool. She doesn't want anyone to see her wearing
a swimsuit, no matter who it is.
She uhhhh - KINDA needs to take a spelling class! :xoxo:
She has or has had some kind of cool typewriter that types all in
italics.
She can bake a mean pumpkin pie, tune a piano, slap a guy across the
face, heal a wound, burn "Soundstage" onto a DVD, and program an
I-Pod, all on the same day.
She KINDA LIKES Phoenix.
She kinda-sorta-maybe likes Lindsey Buckingham, just a whole lot.
She was Popular in High School.
She LOVES Mabel Normand ( an old Silent Film star ).
She's ready for her close-up.
She owns, believe it or not, lots of "normal" clothes
She's cool as hell.
She owns a rose garden and acres of land.
She plays a mean game of tennis and golf.
She knows some sort of weird kung fu thingy and can kick your ass.
She owns a top-hat or two.
If you're ever in Vegas in the next few years, you might be able to
get in to a high-stakes Poker game against her.
You'll lose.
She can "walk like an egyptian!"

Here is one no one has mentioned....
She loves Lindsey Buckingham
Always has- always will and the feeling is mutual..
They know that is is destiny for them to be together throughout
this life and they have been, in one way or another.
They are:
Ying/Yang
East/West
Moon/Sun
Left/Right
Up/Down
Lovers/Fighters
Dreamers/Do -er's
Mirror reflections of each other
That's my fact and I am sticking to it!

"Bootylicious."
STUNNINGLY WELL, in my opinion!
I felt her PRECISION was just . . . AMAZING!
But then again, it IS her RIFF!
OH, also, she liked to watch "The Muppet Show" in the 70s,
Star Trek: The Next Generation during the 80s, and Judging Amy now.
And fairly recently read a book called "Wheel of Fortune" -
all 780 PAGES of it or whatever it was!
And somewhere buried deep inside a drawer in her bedroom,
under piles of old socks and legwarmers, is a pair of Wayfarers.
HAHA!

Even though Lindsey or someone can stop her from singing "Well" during songs the _whole_ time when they can argue over it in the studio, neither she nor anyone else can stop her from singing "Well" at concerts. Over and over and over and over again.
No one told her drugs were bad. Seriously. Not one person. According to her.
Her soulmate is Lindsey Buckingham.
She wants to still be doing concerts when she's in a wheelchair.
She's evil. But she hides it surprisingly well for someone who dresses all in black flowing clothes and writes songs cursing her former lover and gives the distinct impression of being a witch.
She's 5' 1"
She rings like a bell through the night and is like a cat in the dark.

From my list 101 Things You Never Knew About Fleetwood Mac [57 so far!!]
These are all honest-to-God facts.
Stand Back is the theme song for BBC's Football Focus.
[Not Stevie strictly, but anyway ...] Tony Blair apparently knows all the words to 'Messin' Round' but incorrectly shouts 'yeah!' after 'I want you to squeeze me so hard that my face turns cherry red.' ;)
Stevie has stated that when she dies she wants to be reincarnated as a Yorkshire Terrier, owned by her.
On Homer Simpson's "Things to do before I die" list:
1 - End crime and injustice [tick!]
2 - Bowl a perfect game [tick!]
3 - See Stevie Nicks naked [ticked three times!]
Montgomery Burns: "Lisa Simpson. That girl has more wicked witchery than Stevie Nicks!"
At least 12 of her songs have the word "Angel" somewhere in the lyrics.
The Timespace tour was the only tour which preceded an album release.
She's 505 days older than Lindsey! :]
She is really obsessed with 'Well'. Honest. On Live at Red Rocks, she says it 15 times [an average of once every sixteen seconds] during Outside the Rain, and on I Need To Know it's 13 times [once every 9.5 seconds]!!
Stevie's songs "Greta" [from Street Angel] and "Garbo" [b-side of Stand Back] form the name of the famous actress Greta Garbo.

She has a really huge, giant, luxurious bedroom in Phoenix
that she never uses.
( She said in Some Interview Somewhere that she prefers to use a
smaller one. )
She's going to start a Foundation.
She doesn't remember the words to "Frozen Love?"
She kinda, sorta, maybe, to-tell-you-the-truth-we-just-simply-don't-
remember wrote all of "The Chain," but then credited everyone.
She did write, Arrange, and Produce all of "Doing the Best That
I Can," all by her own Stevie Self.
She owns or owned a cheerleading suit, for reasons no one's quite
clear on.
She's said that Oscar Wilde and Edgar Allan Poe have been huge
influences on her music.
When Lindsey left her, it seasoned her soul.
She knows how to use a HAMMER!

She appeared on The Today Show on the morning of 9/28/05,
making her Big Comeback after the loss of her Dad.
Where she TOTALLY kicked ass.
And started to truly become The Queen of Rock.
Mountains fell, thunder boomed throughout the land,
angels trembled, Zeus shot down bolts of lightning from the
very CLOUDS, and Brooke Shields cried.
Well, okay, maybe most or all of that didn't happen -
but it was still WAY cool!

She owns or owned a cheerleading suit, for reasons no one's quite

I believe the reason she does it quite clear to herself, and possibly some other people, and I also believe it's because she's a perfectly capable cheerleader. In the Tusk video, her second best moment (coming between Lindsey just about to drag her to sit down after manical waving and turning around to see a camera in her face and jumping about a foot) is her little baton-twirling (I was about to say "stick-spinning"...) bit. Did she not used to cheerlead at school or something? I think I heard something along those lines...
YEAH but she's not very GOOD at it IS she!!? . . . .

She _is_ good! Give the woman some credit... And go watch her sing Silver Springs on the Dance a few times... God, I'd be more than proud of my evilness if I could force my ex-lover not only sing the song that curses him time and time and night and night again, but to bow to me repeatedly during it...
And how come I missed those meetings? God, you turn your back to get in some solitary evil, and the rest of the bloody Dark Side fires your favourite evil singer... (with the possible exception of Lindsey Buckingham)
