Come on, Gerald. Did you really think we would count that as two votes? You know how anal I am about following rules! Proxy voting is illegitimate and will not be recognized. This even extends to rez and me. We are players of this game as well as moderators, and if we proxy vote for our friends when no one else is allowed to, that would not be very fair. All must follow the rules, especially rez and I!

Nancy, you didn't get an e-mail from Lux warning you of the impending double vote from me? I believe that was the plan, but I may not have been paying proper attention. She does not currently have the ability to post so she asked me to put in her vote for her. I suppose if I would have voted for Don't Look Down, you would have believed me, which I almost did anyway. If that's the only way you'll count hers, go ahead and put my vote down for Don't Look Down, as I just barely have a preference.

If after reviewing this post you are still finding it challenging to understand what I am saying, you may PM me and I will try to explain it in more specific terms.

Why you so consistently tell me that I do not understand your posts, I do not know, but I will respond in kind. You do not understand the meaning of my hypothetical. Gerald seemed to think it was all just a scam to get You Do Or You Don't to win. (I realize you were just "kidding around," Gerald, just go with me as I try to help Nancy acheive a great sense of accomplishment in understanding me) Since I voted for it, and I included Lux's vote for the same song, it is easy to conclude that I made up her vote so that the song I want to win would get more votes. So I don't think you want Don't Look Down to win. As someone, very possibly you, once told me, things aren't always about you. It was not a bribe. If I had voted for Don't Look Down and I included Lux's vote for You Do Or You Don't, it would give me more instant credibilty in the extra vote being accurate. Perhaps if you PM me, I could explain it in greater detail.

If by "consistently" you mean twice, then yes, I have done so consistently. The reason for this is that I feel what I say is clear, yet you do not seem to understand. Therefore, I say so. I am sorry if this offends you.

I did not even look at the votes you and/or Lux had cast; therefore, I did not take into consideration that you felt the negation of both votes would lend your joint vote credence. I can see your point. That would have been legitimating, had I taken note of it. Likewise, I hope you can see my reasoning as well in believing your agitation stemmed from an idea that for some reason, I would disapprove of the song you were voting for.

I am glad this is not about me. Indeed, why should it be? I am only acting in accordance with the rules. Nothing personal about it. This is why, in my response to you, I offered to explain them. I am glad I do not need to do so.

Now, shall we return to the game? Or does this warrant further discussion? Perhaps in PM? While I find the exchange rather amusing, I think our displays are pretty tiresome to those who have no investment in whether or not I allow you to vote for Lux. Very difficult decision - I love them both. I almost chose Don't Look Down because Lindsey said it was one of his favorites. However, I had to go with You Do or You Don't because when I first bought OOTC, it was one of the ones that got stuck in my head instantly. Great hook.
