I just saw this movie the other day, and it got me thinking. I know it was just a movie, but I also know the scenario of nuclear weapons from that part of the world falling into the wrong hands as been discussed. It seems to me that maybe more money and attention should be paid to that than Iraq. I'm not going on a pro or anti-war rant here, it just seems logical to me that this should be paid the highest priority. I mean, if one of thesde things actually falls into Osama Bin-Laden's or any other terrorists hands and they somehow get it over here, you can kiss a major us city goodbye. Just curious to see what others think?

This is a real threat. There are some such weapons that are "missing" from Russia I believe. I hope it never happens but it is possible. I just saw an official discussing it on TV. He said make sure you have enough food and water to wait a couple of weeks for the fallout to subside. Tape your windows with plastic and go into an interior room in the house with no windows/doors. I swear, I used to think guys like that were just paranoid but now I think I should get my survival kit together.

Yeah, I remember how everyone laughed a couple years ago when the whole duct tape thing was in the news.

Great movie! Not a big fan of Nicole's hair in that movie though.

I thought she did pretty good along With George Clooney. It was pretty riveting as far as I'm concerned

is the Emmy Awards being hit with a nuke...Hell, I pray that any/every award show should end in blood & death, Because watching these shows in the past caused hemmoraging & killed my brain cells.

Seriously, I have been saying what happened in New Orleans will seem like a toe stumping once a nuke in brought in such a city as Los Angeles or Dallas and is discharged...Do I think it will happen? Sure, The terrorists will send a message that 9-11 was nuthing and they will up the ante to prove their hatred not for 'certain' Americans but ALL Americans!!!

Neither the Republicans nor Democrats will or can keep this from occurring.

Oh don't get me wrong, I LOVE N-I-C-O-L-E. She is probably my favorite actress out there right now, but I just wasn't "feeling" the hair.

I saw nothing wrong with her hair, it was the movie that I wasn't feeling. What an execrable piece of Hollywood trash.

Exactly. I firmly believe the U.S should spare no expense when it comes to keeping the pressure up on these a-holes. We can argue about the method President Bush or anyone else might use, but all they care about is the destruction of America, so that tells me it's kill or be killed. I'm not a war mongerer, but I'm realistic at the same time.

It was typical "hollywood" you are correct, but I do have to admit that it kept me on the edge of my seat!

To me, her hair was lacking volume and any sort of "style".

It bored me. There was nothing original about it, it was one giant cliche wrapped in new packaging. When Nicole Kidman can't even give a movie some redeeming value, you're in trouble. George Clooney plays every role the same way to me, so anything with him is a chore to watch.

the problem with the duct tape method is that you will eventually asphyxiate once you've used up the oxygen in your house. You create a vacuum in effect..not the best way to ride out a bombing eh?

this really freaks me out, do you remember seeing the movie "the day after"?, it is on t.v., but alot of schools played it in history class, well it is about a nuclear attack here & it's aftermath~ the 1st sequence in the movie is from the airforce base a mile from me~ it is one of the bases that bush traveled to on 9-11, the base is so close when airforce one flew over my house it seemed like a mere maybe 200-300ft if that, only above me, it was so surreal, anyways, this base still has nuclear weapons here~ they say they have minimalized it's what do you call it stockhold of weapons?, but 1 of the parents i watch kids for, for the past 10 yrs, who wrks underground at stratcom on base, said they still have all the weapons they had before & we would be one of the 1st bases to retaliate if a nuclear war ever happened here, that so freaks me out~ i watched a movie called pripypat (*sp) about the city around chernoble (now i know i spelled this wrong  ), where they had their nuclear power plant accident~it is the most devestaing thing i have seen, all that radiation & what it is still doing there, very sad :( ~

Eh, no, she isn't. Her political contributions tell a different story. Same with her husband. I wouldn't call her another Emmylou Harris, but I would never call her a conservative, either.

I think that would take longer than the time you would have to stay in. The again, that depends on the size of your house. Guess we need 02 tanks too. Hopefully nothing like that will ever happen.
