Okay, I was listening to "Tonight's the Night" and for some reason...
I JUST NOW noticed the French-speaking part at the end.
After listening to it for so long, I don't know how I missed that.
I probably just skipped over it once he stopped singing.

Anyway--to my question...
What does she say?
I took French in high school, but can't for the life of me understand her.
Something about... I'm a little scared... something about her husband... something about driving... and then je t'aime over and over again.

I looked online and can't find that part ANYWHERE.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, guys. :)

I am pretty sure the french speaking is by Britte Eckland-she was his wife or soon to be be wife at that time..but as far as what she's saying??..Sorry it's all French to me

I read somewhere that Rod wanted Stevie to sing that part.

I speak French - but I can't for the life of me remember what the line is that's being sung. If I could hear it, I could translate it.

Sorry it took me so long to get back with this! lol

Here it is
[Mmmh!]

[Oh, j'ai un peu peur.]

[Oh, mon Dieu, qu'est-ce qu'il va dire mon mari?]

[Mon amour, viens plus près, embrasse moi…]

[Oh, je t'adore beaucoup.]

[Il sait conduire la nuit.]

[Oh, il sait conduire la nuit!]

[Je t'aime, je t'aime, je t'aime.]

[Il sait conduire la nuit, oh!]

[Cette nuit!]
