And all of them are Republicans. David Vitter from Louisiana didn't even bother to vote.
The public, however, wants one established. 64% of Republicans and 83% of Democrats to be exact. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/09/12/AR2005091200668.html

C'mon, Chris, this is no time for the blame game. You know that. We need to figure out what went wrong so that it can be prevented in the future, not point fingers and appoint blame.

They probably know if an independent committee investigates then their goose is cooked. So just fall into step like lemmings. :distress:

Well, you know...they can't have any committees yet! It's just too soon. They haven't even had time to get all their stories straight yet...let alone lay the groundwork for the proper threats and intimidation. Good grief! What are those damned Democrats thinking anyway?!

Personally, I think deals were made under the table to kill this. I am sad to see it did not pass, but not surprised.

I don't know but I'm not feeling optimistic and I hate feeling that way! I did get a questionnaire from Dean because he wanted to get a feel for how Ds felt about the importance of issues. He wants to re-energize the party from the ground up. I hope he can do something.

God help the democratic party. It has totally lost all of its ties to its roots if turned into the mess that Dean would have it be.

I received that questionnaire, as well as one from "Friends of Hillary." So, I guess Hillary is strongly considering running.
