Really? I tested it before I posted - and am now copying and pasting the info into my original post...okay, now it doesn't work for me either, and I just started over and tried searching again and got nothing. It was there a second ago, I swear!!! LOL I think Sticketbastard is testing their system, they've done this sort of thing before. ;)

Damn! I've got a stupid lecture at 6pm :( .... but there's too many people to take attendance, so i could easily blow off this class if i decide go....
Is anyone else planning to go? The $50 tickets are gonna be crap seats.... wonder what the other seats will cost....

I am sure someone will be recording this show...I mean cant be all that hard for this show to appear since a 25 disc version of the Live8 is in existance.

So who's going for the $500 ducats? Sh*t... I have 40 minutes to mull this over. As much as I'd love to get them, that's a LOTTA scratch. And it is such a worthy cause... Decisions, decisions...

Irma Thomas is brilliant. My fav. of her's is "It's Rainin'" - which I hopw she sings.
Also, is it me, or do y'all think Taku got Bette and Stevie on board.

Come to think of it, that does seem to make sense. It seems like everybody else on the roster either 1) comes from Nawlins, 2) lives in NY (Bette Midler, Simon & Garfunkel, Lenny Kravitz, Buffett) or 3) was already scheduled to play in NYC around 9/20 (Elton, Elvis, Fogerty, Loggins). Stevie is definitely the odd gal out! Bless her heart... she's probably there out of respect for Taku and his in-laws, as well as the goodness of her heart.
Also, did you notice that Rod Stewart mysteriously dropped out of the line-up??

I know - maybe he had a conflict. I also hear his voice is on the out, but that is a wild rumor.
I think La Nicks and Bette Midler will do something together, maybe with Elton John or S&G. It should be an interesting evening. Sadly, I cannot go and am rather pissed about that

Lenny Kravitz is also from N'Awlins! :) No, I hadn't noticed that Rod dropped out.

Wow, 10:04 and not pulling up anything close to good. Only the $175.00 tickets are coming up (for 2 seats). I wonder if as usual better seats will emerge closer to the show? I did pull a $500. single seat up, but it was section 94, which is off the floor about half way back! I figured the $500 seats would be the first few floor sections, or at the most the entire floor.

Yeah, I thought that was weird. I suspect this is going to be attended by lots of muckety-mucks. And it is being underwritten by Bear Stearns, so that guarantees lots of rich, fat, middle-aged white men with their trophy wives sitting in the front sections. And I'm sure American Express Gold Card holders have their seats reserved as well. Such is life. I suppose it doesn't matter when it's all about charity.
I got my $100 seat, which wasn't too bad- Section 103, Row A. Hopefully that means I'm at the front of the section and will have an unobstructed view. Definitely bringing the binoculars though. Oh, and for once, no ticketbastard fees!!!
