Thanks, that was great! I missed it when it aired here. I loved it when Stevie started to sing a bit of Frozen Love.... my fav BN song :) I'd kill to see them do that one in concert. Say Goodbye was beautiful....

OMG - you can soooooooo see me and my Ledgie posse at the end of NGA :blob1: :blob1: :blob1:

and FL - sighes

On edit - the emotion betweeen those two on SG is horrifuyingly palpable and that sooooo captured on film. When he nods at her at the end and then sings "so I say goodbye to you" - it is so sad.

You must not visit the Lindsey forum much.

This month was the first airing for it. It was recorded during the SYW Tour....a few weeks before the band filmed LIB.

Ahh gotcha. I'm not an LB fan, I'm a SN fan so I don't visit that forum :). I'm only watching it to see the songs with Stevie.

I can't believe it took them 2 years to air the damn thing!

Quite a few people don't visit the LB board which is a shame because there are some interesting things over there.

LIB was filmed in Boston on Sept 23 and 24 of 2003.

You can hear me more than anything....after Gypsy...during NGBA....and I'm the "Woo! Go Lindsey" guy in Stand Back.

Are you in there anywhere. I remember you saying you were. I just can't remember where.

What part of stage were you near? I was near LB both nights. You can see me a few times during the show but I am so tiny that it is kind of hard to see me. You can see me dancing during World Turning and a few shots during GYOW.

I'll have to look for ya.

We sat on Stevie's side...on the side of the stage...the front of the section there in the middle. We were able to see Stevie change and talked to John during the acoustic set. During Stand Back we decided to just head down to the front of the stage.

Whatta great time it was. You could roam around the venue without anyone saying a word.

I'm glad everybody is enjoying the video, no problem sharing. Wow I wonder why it took PBS two years to run this show.Sept 15, 2003. I remember reading about the taping on the internet.oh wish I was there. I could have been on tv with Stevie and Lindsey.,hahaha.the show will probably show up on the dime or on Winmx. or I wait until Wal-mart has it. thats where I found the Boston show
for $28.00 a few months ago.

I saw a total of 8 SYW shows and one of the most memorable moments for me of the entire tour (and I believe the only time I got choked up) was Say Goodbye on the sheds tour in Irvine, CA. It was by far the best performance of the night and really one of my favorite moments ever. The emotion between them was undeniable and there is just no way in hell it was all acting. I could swear Stevie was crying and I couldn't help but cry along with her...
It's hard to believe one of my favorite moments ever seeing Stevie live was on a Lindsey song considering I'm not really a huge Lindsey fan but it was because I saw this intensely emotional personal side of her we don't often get to see and know the story behind. I wish I had the video :).

I can't wait to see this when I get home!

Anyone else want to take a stab at what Stevie and LB are saying? I see Stevie say "did I do alright?" (it might be "did I do ok?") to him, then he says a whole lotta stuff I cannot decipher! He has a sweet smile, so I assume he is telling her she did just fine.

It always surprises me to hear people are not really fans of LB. Their music is so intertwined it is hard for me to not love both. I always prefer their voices together, too. I certainly connect more with Stevie's music, in that her lyrics are more understandable to me but I do love them both. Lindsey's more recent lyrics have been some of his best ever. The new song, Shut Us Down, is probably one of my favorite things he has ever written. (not my favorite LB song, favorite lyrics) He seems particularly inspired in recent years.

Not really...I love Stevie's music that she writes and I'm much more of a fan of her solo stuff than the FM stuff in general (although I love her songs with FM) and Lindsey doesn't have a whole lot to do with Stevie's solo career so I really don't feel any special connection to him musically. The songs I love of hers were written by her or other people, not LB. I do like the production he has done on some of her songs but it's just not enough to make me a huge fan of his. I'm a Stevie Nicks fan first and foremost. I do like Lindsey a lot though, don't get me wrong. Just wouldn't consider myself a huge fan.

Thank you for posting! I just watched it. Too bad I just recently got over my nightmares of the SYW dress. I guess they'll be starting up again soon .

She was very mellow. Obvisouly she wanted to allow him to be in the spot light which pretty much sums up the entire SYW tour. I'm so glad I finally got to see her solo so I know that isn't how she always is.

So she was only there for those 2 songs?

She only did those two songs with him. They did them both twice.

Stevie was very mellow on the TISL tour, too. She does talk more on her own but her demeanor, at least IMHO, was very similiar to the SYW tour. She was sort of blah on TISL. I sort of doubt her behavior at the beginning of SYW had anything to do with LB, only because she was the same on TISL. Actually, this last TwoVoices/Gold Dust tour was kind of unusual for Stevie. She was more active, more engaging and more animated than she normally is on solo tours. (in recent years) She is the only one to carry the show when she performs solo so she HAS to sell it. I actually think her real personality, at this time in her life, is more laid back, quiet and mellow. Meaning the real Stevie is what we saw on TISL and SYW. Personally, I think alot of what we saw this summer was very forced. How many people who were at the Phoenix and Vegas shows would have known her Dad was dying? (if they had not already heard through the grapevine) Stevie appeared happy all summer even while her Dad was failing and in the hospital. The last couple of shows had to be incredibly difficult but she puts on that happy face and most fans thought she was incredible and happier than ever. She really wasn't.
I was shocked and surprised when I saw her this summer because that is not what Stevie is normally like on solo tours. Plus, she looked so good!

Oh, I do agree that at Soundstage, Stevie consciously tried to keep the spotlight on Lindsey. It was his show afterall. I do not think she felt obligated to do that during the SYW tour, though, I think she was just being herself. In fact, I think she LIKES having some of the burden off her shoulders.
