I actually don't like gum. I find it a bit gross. You chew on this piece of...whatever it's made out of for awhile. Whatever is on your teeth must get all stuck in there and you just continue chewing it. I don't know....I have never been a fan of gum!

Yup, but I still like gum! Like Grape Hubba Bubba or Bubblicious or whatever it's called is SO good! Or... well, all gum!

Meh.....if on rare occasion I do chew gum it's usually one of those super intense minty ones. LIke Dentyne Ice. The fruity sugery stuff isn't for me.

Gum has always made me very happy. Especially when I don't have any candy.
Have you tried Eclipse lemon ice? It's good. Cherry ice tastes terrible, though, exactly like a cherry cough drop. I hate bubble gum that stays soft, I need it to get that hard rubbery consistency to truly maximize my pleasure. I almost always get sugarless gum - Though I enjoy Bazooka grape and strawberry. It has the right consistency. I don't like the SUPERFLAVORS - razzlemon, grapebunghole, strawbannana, cherrybuttblast! - get them away, and go invent something more useful. Mostly I "do" mint and cinnamon. mmm, cinnamon.

The hard rubbery consistency is what I cannot stand. It makes my teeth hurt just thinking about it. I usually can't chew gum for more than 5 minutes. The only fruity one I like is that Orbitz Orange one. That is some good stuff. Until it loses it's flavor that is.....

Have you tried Eclipse lemon ice? It's good.I've been meaning to try that one. Sounds good.

I like the Orbit Spearmint gum, and also the Orbit White stuff. When I was a kid I loved all those goofy, over-the-top fruity flavors but they're too much for me now. I like the kind of gum that's intended to do something for my breath because I get paranoid about it sometimes.

The stuff we go on about :laugh:

That's what a lot of people I know say. I like it because it blows the best bubbles. For non bubble gum, it doesn't matter. Orbits orange....mmm...but Orbitz doesn't come in that pop out package.

I think I would love that. Extra's bubble gum used to taste kind of like that, it was good. I haven't seen it, though.

We have a candy bowl at work and sometimes there is bubble come in it, the kind in its own little wrapper that loses its flavor in 5 minutes. :laugh: I love that stuff. Its okay that it doesn't last because I can't really chew gum for long periods of time without my jaw hurting.

I love that kind, too! that's how Bazooka is. I know, after a little bit it's like chewing....silly putty? industrial strength glue? :lol: You can get some crazy bubbles out of that shizz, though. :nod: (great, I'm a bubble connesieur).

Trident: Tropical Splash
Orbit: Bubble Mint, Spearmint (and a combo of the two), and wintergreen or whatever...

I also can't seem to chew only one piece of gum at a time...always chew 2 pieces.

one time when I was seven or 8, I woke up early, and I craved sugar (as usual)
so I went into my mom's purse (which I never really did, that's the only time I remember) and got some Freedent. Well, she woke up, and was FURIOUS! (like, eyes bulging, yelling, mad face) :laugh:
I got sooo busted and so grounded!

I love a good hunk of Bazooka or Double Bubble every so often. The rest of the time, I daintily chomp on Spearmint Eclipse to freshen up my cake hole. I remember Freshen Up....that stuff was the best!! Unless of course you didn't protect it well enough in your purse, then you would have a oooze incident...freshen oops!

Right now I feel the strongest attachment to Bazooka regular. The comics are kinda lame, not quite as cool as when I was a kid.

My least favorite gum is the gum that is in blow pops. There is always crunchy matter from the pop in them and sometimes a little paper from the stick. Ugh.

No, girl I don't know (hi! :wavey: ) - it's terrible! It tastes exactly like Cherry cough drops!
And you know what makes it even more terrible is the fact that I like Cherry cough drops, but not the gum.
But it makes sense that "Cherry Ice" tastes that way. I guess they mixed Cherry with Menthol. They probably could've mixed Cherry with Spearmint and it would've tasted much better. (Cherry mint) :shrug:

I go through gum phases. Sometimes I can't stop chewing it, and other times I get grossed out at the thought. I'm an old-school flavor kinda guy - mint, bubblegum, cinammon. But after reading this thread, I'm interested in the Orbit Orange whatever. And I saw commercials a while back for Extra Green Apple. That sounds yummy.

The gums that *really* gross me out are the early 1900s flavors they release in limited edition from time to time: that BlackJack licorice one, and the clove gum. Which is funny, because I enjoy clove cigarettes. :shrug: But the clove gum is ralph-inducing.

I've had the Extra Green Apple gum. And I don't usually like green apple (or watermelon). But there was something compelling about it...you should probably try it.
I know, licorice and cloves. I like black licorice, but the gum isn't that good. Both of those flavors are too strong to be in a gum. They might be okay as candy, but gum is too much.

I love gum, but can't chew it that often cuz I have TMJD. My jaw hurts really bad & I get headaches when I chew it frequently. My jaw pops too, but it's never gotten stuck or anything.

That said, I had a Blow Pop last night. :laugh: I did OK, but it was grape & I'm not a fan of grape (of apple or watermelon) flavored candies.

Remember Fruit Stripes (or is it Fun Stripes?) They tasted so good for 20 seconds & then the flavor was gone. I think they stil make them.

Bwahhahahahahahahaaaaa . . .what a rendom subject, I love it. I myself have never been a huge gum fan, my jaw tends to get sore after chwing it for very long. However, I've recently been on a sort of gum kick - I've been keeping Orbitz in my purse. I find it's better to chew on that after a good meal than it is to eat chocolate.

I have TJMD too, so I chew maybe 5 pieces of gum a year. My best friend always has gum with her, and she carries mints too so I don't feel left out when people want gum, ha.

I used to chew BubbleYum when I was younger (the grape was so good), and all those other fruity kinds. Now when I do have the occasional piece, it's always some mint flavor.

My daughter had some of that a couple of weeks ago. See it's much cooler now because the wrappers have temporary tattoos on them. ;)
