You know, at first I was sitting on my bed like Jon, please don't make light of this, but damn, it's so good. I loved it when Ed Helms said the president's going to build a dam in Arkansas to fight the water there instead of at home. Oh, wow.

You're right - it was great.

Jon: "So, we've been off for more than a week. Did we miss anything?"

I was a little upset they didn't include the Bush/McCain birthday cake pic from last Monday in the Katrina/Bush Vacation Timeline, though. I know Jon really likes John McCain, but still...

They did a fantastic job! I love that show, and that man! I need to dig out my "Stewart/Cobert 2008" banner for my sig -- I don't remember where I saved it on my computer.

It's one of the funniest shows on television, pretty much the only one I watch on a regular basis. Obviously, I don't agree with his political agenda, but I watch it to be entertained, not for talking points. And it's almost always entertaining.

 My sister and her husband are Republican/Conservative (though not Bush supporters) - and LOVE The Daily Show lol....

In fact my sister is trying to get tickets to a live taping of the show...it's definitely entertaining.

I don't know why, but I find that show alarmingly irritating. I really dislike Jon Stewart's demeanor, his candor...all that stuff. I don't know why. To each his own right?

He is most definitely left-leaning. But one of the things I like about him is that he's an "equal opportunity insulter". He's leveled some zingers at John Kerry and other dems that have made me laugh as hard as those leveled against Bush, et al. It is definitely an entertaining show!
