 I have a feeling Fleetwood Mac will be touring again in the near future.
I had the great experience with working with someone who just got off the road working with Stevie on her tour and had worked with Fleetwood Mac on their last tour. and I asked him if he thought that was it for them or if he thought they would tour again..He seemed to be fairly positive that they would be touring again..As he said "old Mick has probably already spent the money for the upcoming tour." he he. So he seems to think that a tour will happen in the very near future..
It was so cool meeting Josh..I was assigned to work with him and I noticed he was wearing a Fleetwood Mac shirt and asked him if he was fan..and thats when he told me he had just finished with Stevie..I told him about me seeing her in Detroit and he sorta took a long look at me and said "did you have a tophat with feathers on in second row??? He remembered seeing me and thought how cool my hat was.. :D
It was a great week for me working the Stones concert,I had the pleasure of meeting some really great people and seeing a great great concert..with not only the Stones ,but Maroon 5, Our Lady Peace, Tragically Hip..It put our little city on the map for sure and will be talked about for a long time..

Fleetwood Mac are scheduled to tour next year. I would say maybe in the spring or summer sometime. One of my co-workers even told me on Wednesday that she heard that they were touring next year.

Since this will probably be their last tour, I am definitely going to every single show I can. A job does sound like a good idea right now. :)

Unless they plan to get a new album together stat, I really hope not.

There is going to be no new album in the near future. We might see something from Lindsey next year but I am not holding my breath on that one. Hopefully he will be able to squeeze that solo tour in there somewhere, too. I would be much more excited about that then a Mac tour.

I agree. Of course I'll be happy to go see their concerts but it seems ridiculous for them to be touring again. It will be the fourth year in a row (if you count Stevie's tour) which is just overkill for the majority of the population. And with no new material to promote they're going to be just like the Eagles who must be on Farewell Tour Number 8 by now.

If Fleetwood Mac makes this the farewell tour and promotes the hell out of it I think it will be good. If it makes enough attention maybe christine will make an appearance (prays!).

Not If ,but when will FM tour again?

After Stevie cuts her next solo record and tours across the stages of the world....TEARING IT UP, like she did on the last tour. I CAN'T WAIT!

I heard they were probably going to tour next year too.

I can hear all the bitching now. If you dont want them to tour, fine then dont go see them. Thousands will still show up in your place. Oh fuuck a new studio album. In my honest opinion, the last really good one was Tango anyway.

I say go out and play now while you can still walk. If only Christine would go "ok ill come out for a short 20 dates"!

The Stones were Great!! and totally surprised at the huge crowd they got here in New Brunswick.
The Set List was changed a bit from their detroit show.
for Moncton they played.
Start Me Up--with fireworks and flames to start the concert
It's Only Rock n Roll
Live With Me
Tumbling Dice
Rough Justice
Ruby Tuesday(the whole crowd sang along)
You Can;t Always get what you want
All Down the Line
Night Time is the Right Time
The Worst(sung by Keith)
Infamy(Keith)
Miss You
Oh No Not You again
Midnight Rambler
Honky Tonk Woman
Sympathy for The Devil
Paint It Black
Jumpin Jack Flash
Brown Sugar
I can;t get No Satisfaction(encore) with more fireworks and flames.
It was a awesome show..and the crowd was great..
Johnny Depp was there and there were rumors that Donald and Keifer Sutherland as well as Anglie and Brad too were there although I didn;t see them..there was special seating up above the stage.for special Vips.
The Hip were great too.Love the song about george w although I can;t think of the name of it..????

RoN Wood...sure he is...but, the big question, is Keith?

As far as Fleetwood Mac goes...I seriously doubt they'll tour in 2006. 2007, barring anything bad happening to Mick or John, is pretty much a given, being the 40th Anniversary of the band...and let's hope they get Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, Christine McVie, Bob Welch, Bob Weston, Rick Vito, Billy Burnette, & Bekka Bramlett involved in the project, too. Let's hope they go out with a bang...3 CD set of NEW material from as many members as possible, a tour (I'll even settle for one-off concert televise via PPV and a subsequent DVD release)...and let's pray to GOD they don't make it another rehashing of Rumours...kill off that damn album for once and for all.

I hope they tour again. they need time off, especialy Stevie she needs downtime with mom. on a new cd , good luck for radio airplay, unless they do a rap mix or a teenie bopper tune for the top 40 stations.classic rock stations will play it for a couple of weeks and stop.Stevie had the same thoughts about radio airplay.the Stones shows sounds awesome, to bad I missed them. they might show up on the dime. and about saving money for the next tour, yes i'm started saving right after the golddust tour ended.just incase.

I think F-mac probably just feels pressed for time, and want to get as much in before too late...Too bad they couldnt have spent this year making a new CD
