I've loved her ever since I heard "on and on" so long ago (ack, I'm old)...but I've yet to purchase any of her albums. They're on the list, though.

I am totally into Siouxsie and the Banshees right now, what with the non-LP box set I got on Wednesday. Haven't listened to Stevie in three days. It's quite amazing, having basically 50 songs that are new to me all at once.

I'm really into PJ Harvey right now. I just got her Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea CD and I think it's wonderful. I especially love "Good Fortune," "One Line," "Kamikaze," and "This Mess We're In," but it's all good. A lot of seems really appropriate for the moment, too.
I'm also into Nico right now. I don't have any of her CDs but I have a few songs and she's like no one else. My favorite song that I've heard is "These Days."

 me too! Thanks to a Ledgie friend who got me hooked a couple years ago. I just downloaded a couple London boots from www.untiedundone.com. I don't have the box set though.
Lately I'm obsessed with Badly Drawn Boy and Shawn Colvin. I've also been revisiting Jackson Browne and Melissa Etheridge. I'm digging her new cover of "Refugee."

Polly rocks. Have you listened to her cooperations with Mark Lanegan on his album Bubblegum? They sound divine together. That whole album is something I'm very into. as I'm into Arcade Fire, Masters Of Reality and Admiral Freebee right now.

I LOVE Rob Thomas's new album, it hasnt done too well over here in the UK but I bought it sfter hearing Lonely No More. I actually fell in love with Rob Thomas after Smooth but was never into Matchbox20 but adore his solo album!
Have recently got into The Doors and have just bought KT Tunstall's album (people in USA may not have heard of her as she's new and British - I think).

I have a feeling I'll be into Melissa Etheridge when her new CD drops. I so want to hear Piece of My Heart again, which I hear will be on there.
Same with Cyndi Lauper - new CD of her reworking her old hits coming in early October (or is it November?)

I've been listening to lots and lots of Patrick Park, Ivy (In The Clear), Shivaree, and the Go-Betweens. I've also been playing Sia's song "Breathe Me" on repeat. It was the song from that final scene of Six Feet Under.

Sad to hear that he hasn't done that well in the U.K...he has done pretty well here, the album has gone platinum. I think he is a wonderful artist, and I am just really into him right now...he is a great person I think too!
From what I have seen in the past on the U.K. charts...it is pretty hard to do well over there! The U.K. has much different taste then we do over here in the U.S. I guess! :) I was sad to see Geri Halliwell's new album not do that well...it was her best so far IMO.

I can't wait for it too!!!
Here is the info from her website..
The new album will be released on November 8th. The title is not decided yet. The album will be an acoustic career retrospective record with 9 career songs and 3 new songs. It will be a dual disc, so there will be some video footage on the album. The song titles are not yet defined.
