PBS.org has added content to their Lindsey page (http://www.pbs.org/wttw/soundstage/lbuckingham/featured.htm), with a photo gallery (some of you will, no doubt, be happy to find there are no pics of Stevie ;) ), a video clip of him performing "Trouble," and a comparison setlist of the actual concert and the broadcast version.
Here's the broadcast setlist, as a spoiler....
Someone’s Gotta Change Your Mind
Trouble
Big Love
Go Insane
Down On Rodeo
Peacekeeper
Red Rover
Never Going Back Again (w/Stevie Nicks)
Say Goodbye (w/Stevie Nicks)
Murrow Turning Over In His Grave
Go Your Own Way
We're all in for a real treat! :D

Oh, my!!! Lovely. My local listings only show it being on Digital PBS, though. :distress: *which is fricking retarded. The bay area, of all places, should show the raffasnaffinrockfrocking Lindsey soundstage*.
Thanks, Stew!!!

Thanks JS, how cool! But like you, Amber, my local PBS station is only showing it on HD PBS. Which, of course, I don't have. I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD in October. Sigh.

But like you, Amber, my local PBS station is only showing it on HD PBS.It's the same situation here, too. They're showing Chris Isaak this weekend on the standard PBS station (WQED), but Lindsey's Soundstage is only being broadcast on their HD version.
And I just found out that the other PBS station we get, out of Akron & Alliance, OH., is also only airing Lindsey's on their HD station. :distress:
Looks like I'm waiting for the DVD, too. *sighs unhappily*

They cut out some of the songs I was most looking forward to. Cross your fingers that the ENTIRE show makes the DVD.
Thanks for posting.

Why are they not showing? It's so lame. It's nice to buy the DVD, but isn't it available later than the show?? :(

I only count two.
Then you must go back to grade school pronto, Mr. Man. I Am Waiting, Down On Rodeo, and Steal Your Heart Away were all cut.

Down on [the] Rodeo was not cut. Unless you're simply looking for a song they title "Down on Rodeo" which simply is not to be found.
Ah, I must be the one who should go back to grade school.

Sigh, it is the hard life. On that note (and now that I've ceased celebrating the inclusion of Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind), I assume that someone is planning to record this, yes?
As soon as I posted that, I realized that this is what all the european and australian fans have to endure.

Oh...HELL NO.
Now, Lindsey's Soundstage is not slated to be shown in the Bay Area? Not on ANY of the six KQED stations we have with digital cable--or even on KTEH? Despite the fact that Lindsey is an artist originally from the Bay Area?
I'm sick of our public broadcasting station not scheduling programs here. Grr. Next time there is a pledge drive, I'll think of this...
Oh well, still looking forward to Chris Isaak's new Soundstage on the 10th; that doesn't make up for opting not to show Lindsey's.
Wait - you have digital - don't you have HD??? I mean, if you have six PBS's... :p
or is that only satellite?
P.S. - "Oh... HELL NO" is exactly what I said when I found out.

Not sure what you mean, Brian, with those sarcastic eyes in the end. Do you mean that he's been working for two years on overdubs, so the live-feel is gone?
about the clip: i'm not sure yet....two octaves lower then the original....have to hear more....

Oh dear Lord I think that I am actually shown on that video clip. It is hard to see because it is so small. That pale faced little blip on the left I think might be me. I was so sick that day, too. :(

Yep - I cannot believe they limited it this way. But, there are still some gems on there. Also, I saw lots of familiar faces in that audience  I think I also saw my bald spot dancing WILDLY

Looks like it may actually be broadcast in Birmingham. It's coming up on my Tivo wishlist to be recorded...now if that's actually what they'll show, I'll be a happy gal. I'd be glad to tape it for someone, but unfortunately my recording capabilities are limited to VHS. :D

Looks like Steal Your Heart Away and I Am Waiting were cut from the broadcast. Hope they release a CD and include those two songs. Does PBS ever do that? VH1 does that sometimes. Although it's criminal that they didn't release a Storytellers CD of Stevie Nicks. I've seen Storytellers CDs from much lesser artists in the cutout bins of records stores.

Man, why did they have to leave off SYHA? It was gorgeous. PLEASE let it be a DVD extra! I Am Waiting? Eh. Its only virtue was its novelty.

it wasnt overdubbed into the ground, thus eliminating the live feel.
It's just that I am surprised at how good the whole show is going to sound all I am saying...Excluding the Chris Isaak "Greatest Hits" (The best one shown this season IMO) & Heart's 2 parter on Soundstage, this one sounds very good.
Trust me, Ya wont be disappointed

had a California trader bud (Non-Ledgie...But still a FM fan!) send me some of the audio clips of the following tracks, "Down On Rodeo", "Peacekeeper" & "Red Rover" from this broadcast on a CDR.
Dont know where the hell he got these tracks from but they sound fine to my ears...What really sucks that I dont have anyway to share 'em with anyone other than via snail-mail since I dont have the system to send the tracks via email to everyone (If I mailed 'em by the time they showed up in the mail the show will be broadcast and I will have the whole broadcast version.)
Trust me...This show sounds fine and I also cannot wait to hear the whole damn show.

I have a **** ton of PBS channels here -- Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York City. For those of you that get WHYY as your public broadcasting station(TV 12 Wilmington/Philadelphia), the show does, in fact, air at 10 pm on Thursday. For those who only get Thirteen (WNET NY), the show will not be airing until 1 am on Friday. It looks as though the broadcast repeats itself several times throughout the week on WHYY but not on Thirteen.
