Ok, I was thinking about this today and I've come up with my list

American League

East-Boston
West-Oakland
Central-Chicago
Wild Card-New York

National League

East-Phillies
West-San Diego
Central- Cardinals
Wild Card-Mets

I'm curious if the other fans in here agree with me? I picked the Mets because I just like how they're lurking. BTW, being a Red Sox fan, I cant believe I picked both teams from New York to make it. I guess anythings possible.

Braves eliminates the Padres
Cards eliminate the Phils
Cards annihilate the Braves (Ah yes, the fall...Leaves change colors on the trees, there's a nip in the air, and the Braves toma-hawk-CHOKE once again!!!)

Yanks beat the Cards 4-2 in the best of 7 in the World Series

Oh, I am a lowly Chicago Cubs fan...Guess where we are spending the post season? Sure as heck aint in the playoffs!!!

I agree withn your assesment on the White Sox. Even if they make it, they wont go far. They've lost half their lead on the Division in the last couple weeks. Too bad the Twins had to lose a little ground after sweepin them in Chicago. Looks like if they make it, which I doubt will happen at this point, it'll be the Wild Card. I would love to see the Red Sox beat the Yankees in the ALCS again. I know it wont make up for all the championships the Sox are behind, but as far as I'm concerned, what happened last year, with the Sox coming back from 3-0 and beating the Yankeees for the pennant in New York, that's enough for me. Curiously, I was in Texas last month to see the Rangers play the Yankees, and they have these t-shirts out that say GOT RINGS? with the Yankeess championships listed next to the Red Sox. I find it amusing that they would even put a Red Sox logo on anything having to do with the Yankees.

I hate to jynx anything, because I am VERY superstitious when it comes to baseball. So, knock on wood.

AL:
Central - White Sox
West - Angels
East - Red Sox
Wild Card - Yankees

NL:
Central - Cardinals
West - Padres
East - Braves
Wild Card - Astros

I only chose Houston to win the Wild Card because of their FAR superior pitching staff. I just dont like the Phillies in the post season. They'd be butchered by these teams, IMO. Except for San Diego. They wont get past the LDS. They're awful. As for the AL, Chicago does not have enough post season experience, and they arent a hitting team, so, IMO, they won't last either. Yet again, it'll come down to a Yanks - Sox LCS.

Hey, the Twins beat the Bravs in the 1991 world series. Tha was a fun series to be a part of. I was at all the WS games in Minnesota. Man that game 7, 1-0 in 10 innings is still the best game I've ever seen in person.
