I think the problem is this MP3 is available for FREE to anyone who wants it..and this person is making a profit off something the got for free from one of the fan sites.........there are two different versions floating around....the first one is as described in the ebay listing ...the second one is almost identical except that she speaks last line without singing it...(that is the one I have)

Oh well then, that IS wrong. Someone should report this seller to Safe Harbor on ebay. I hate seeing these people get away with stuff like that.

I don't think it is against ebay rules to sell an answering machine message. It is not copyrighted material or bootlegged. I could be wrong.

Someone should email the person who is buying it for $15.00 and tell them that it is FREE on someone's website or offer to email the mp3 to them for free....although if the auction goes private then we know the scumbag selling it reads this board.

This is at least the second time it has been listed on ebay. I guess the seller had a disagreement with someone on this board about the ethics of putting it on ebay, then posted a message a nasty message about it on BN's boards.

I actually did email it to a few of the previous bidders. Maybe that's not exactly right either, but so many people are nice enough to send me files, so it should go full circle, IMO.

Thanks, but it just seems so wrong to see someone spend $20 for a 30 second sound clip, when it can be found for free. It didn't help that this seller was so nasty.

I just hate to see someone who just doesn't know that they can get it for free. :shocked: $15.00 just seems alittle steep. PLUS in his Q/A at the bottom, when asked about the quality, they reply "sounds good to me". There's a red flag for you. Just hope the person is happy. There is some bad copies of it out there. Also charging for shipping? mp3's through emails is free. Oh well..... :shrug:

It was pretty funny, actually, because (at least to my knowledge) no one over there was even aware of the auction. This new thredge showed up, and it was from her, going on about how ''she don't care bout what nobody thinks, because some people be broke".

We didn't know what she was talking about, so she posted the link to the auction herself. Just some poor loser looking for an arguement. :rolleyes: :shrug:
