Just wanted to pass this on for anyone interested. My local morning radio guy, Kidd Kraddick, is collecting money for the hurricane victims. Here is the link to the website.

www.kiddlive.com Click on the donate online link and it will take you to a Kidd's Kids website donation form, but ALL money donated is going to the victims, not Kidd's Kids today. Kidd's Kids is a wonderful charity as well that takes terminally ill children to Disney World. They are going this November, and will need money for that too, but today is all about the hurricane victims. They've raised almost $100,000 since like 6AM this morning.

Thanks. :)

From the Patriots Website:

...For each $1,000 donation, the Kraft family and the New England Patriots organization would like to thank you with a lower bowl ticket to Thursday night's season opener with the Patriots vs. the Oakland Raiders. These tickets have been made available by special arrangement to thank you for your help raising donations for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, and supplies are limited...

A poster at another board I visit requested this be passed on. The Texas shelters are running low on women's plus-sized clothing and underclothes. They are also in need of new socks, both men's and women's, as well as casual shoes that are in good shape. They also need larger-sized men's clothes. These shelters also distribute to other churches, hotels, etc, which are housing victims. You can mail donations to these addresses:

George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenue of the Americas, Houston, TX 77002 (appox 3,000 evacuees)

Reliant Arena, 1 Reliant Center, Houston, TX 77054 (appox 6,000)

AstroDomain, Kirby Drive, Houston, TX 77054 (appox 18,000)
