Ok, this has probably been discussed here before, but I was just curious as to what people though about this track being included on the Rumours Bonus Disc. I found it to be quite bizarre, it's sort of like that track at the end of Bare Trees where the old lady reads the poem. although its not the same in the poetic sense. Just wanted to get others thoughts on this.

Silly, goofy and annoying. Probably Mick's idea to put it on there as a ode to the shananigans of the rumours studio sessions.
Wasted space. I always program it out.

SUCKS ASS.
Hearing Stevie clunk out POTU in the backgroud is ok, though.

It's never OK to hear her abusing and banging on the the piano like a seven year old who's had too much sugar.
As for the track itself, it's a wretched waste of time and so bloody annoying. I'd rather watch my toenails grow than listen to it a second time.

Sad waste of space. Can't for the life of me imagine that they thought fans would listen to it more than once (if they got through even that). Why they didn't include another rough demo or some such is beyond me.

I don't care for it either, but I can't say that I'm surprised that it is on there. It is so Mick-esque to put that on there. I mean the girl is laughing at Mick Screeching on the mic, so I'm sure it was some ego boost to show how funny he is. Maybe, he thought we would all think it was as funny as she did. I'm not that high yet.

Christ, there's some hatred for this track... I must say I never worked up enough interest either way before now. It's only a few seconds or a minute or so - does it really matter that much?
Anyway, I prefer it to one or two songs off BTM or Tango :D

It matters when you are playing your mp3 collection really loud while you are, say cleaning (I'm sure I am not the only one who does that!), and suddenly this 'iiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssiiiiiiiii' comes through, making everybody in a 100 mile radius jump to the ceiling.

Well, I dont hate it, but I just thought it was a little weird. I dont mind them including something of that nature from the studio, but I think perhaps something alse might have been more intresting.

I assumed it was a cheap shot at getting some "writing" royalties out of the CD.

I love it.
Call me a freak, but I find it really interesting to hear the goings-on of a great band recording in a studio. It's a nice reminder that these guys are real people who obviously also had a lot of fun despite all the drama at the time.
I wish there were more of these moments.

Well, you do have a point there.

It was interesting once. But after repeated listenings of the disc, it is painfully annoying and breaks the flow of music.

Awwww, poor Stevie. She was nervous as all get out to do that piano performance of Rhiannon. She isn't a piano player and doesn't profess to be one. I give her props for trying. I actually like the Storytellers version because she seems sort of vulnerable while singing it. Plus, I like looking at her huge diamond on her finger.

Even though her piano playing is not the best in the world, there was something about that performance of Rhiannon that did me in anyway.

The idea that an ungifted player should be performing on such a cosmic instrument just screams free-market capitalism! As such, we should embrace it. It's like disgustingly rich philistines buying themselves whole wings of art galleries filled with Mannerist masterpieces.
One thing about Stevie: her taste in instruments is at least as good as Christine's (from whom she undoubtedly learned a thing or two).
