Where do we find all of this info, or are we estimating? If we're estimating, here ya go.

I assume you mean high school - I graduated 1993
Gas was around $1.30 EDIT - this is higher than everyone else's answer. I may be off. Maybe I'm thinking of a pack of ciggies.
Brand name jeans were about $35-45
Sneakers around $60
Haircut $12 maybe?
Movies - $5 or $6

New car - no clue. :shrug:

Price of a gallon of gas I think it was around .50, I know we could go to a gas station and put in $2,00 of gas to cruise around and thye attendant (remember this is back in the days of no self-service), wouldn't look at you like you were crazy- $2.00 of gas for 18 year old driving around was normal.

Price of a new car... Model, year and $$$$$- I had a used 68 MG as my first car and my Dad bought it for me. First car I bought was a brand new 1981 Honda Prelude, most eqipped car they siold at that time- all the bells and whistles, so to speak, and it cost me $13,000. (Which was considered ALOT for a "foreign car" Can I mention....I loved that car!!!
