I was just watching the Concert For Bangladesh DVD filmed back in 1971 and I just realised how immensely cool George Harrison was. The "quiet Beatle", he wrote some magnificent songs; Here Comes The Sun, Something, My Sweet Lord etc and he was a first rate guitarist. He's definitely my favourite Beatle.
Who is yours?

George is my favorite Beatle, followed closely by Paul. I've never been a Lennon girl.

Lennon. George and Ringo are fine too, but I've always thought Paul to be a huge twat.

Me, too.
I'm not a Beatles fan, but I've always liked George the most out of them all.

Not a big Beetles fan. I like their song writing, but I don't like their voices. I find that they yell when they sing which drives me crazy. When they started getting high, though, they started to sing at a normal volume. "I WANNAAAAAAA HOLD YOUR HAAAAAAND!" Do you really have to yell it? You could just say "I wanna hold your hand" and it would probably work just as well!

Oh yeah, and I said George. He was in the Traveling Wilburies and they were coooool. Did I spell it right?

McCartney's singing style was influenced by Little Richard in the early days so...

I love George but I had to go with John. I've loved him ever since I was little. For "Imagine" alone he has to get the top spot.
Then Ringo for "Shining Time Station." I'm kidding!

Paul McCartney: the best songwriter of the group for me and he plays bass, a major appealing factor for me. :D

I picked George! He was like a fine wine that only got better with age (this means as he got older I found him to be hotter). The video for "I got my mind set on you" is so the awsome-ness, LOL! I love it! :)

Wilburys. Probably not grammatically correct (but then, wtf is a Wilbury anyways?), but that's how they spelled it.

I got to see an advanced copy but I have to return it in a week - that's Apple for you! It's great stuff though, definitely worth buying and there's a fantastic documentary on there too.
John and George are neck and neck!

The two dead ones are my favorites, which sucks, but they are easily the best 2, with John probably edging out George.
John.
Very difficult, this "who is your favorite Beatle?' thing. After all, George was my musical love since I was 10. I never paid John any attention because I always felt he was way over my head <--- no pun intended.
But then I discovered him. And I've never really looked back. It's so thrilling to discover a new artist in general, but when it's John Lennon and like everything is as close to magical as you can get...nothing beats it.
Paul is ok (though great in the Beatles). His solo music has some high points, but overall fairly average to below. Ringo is awesome! Such a personality, and his "Ringo" album is great. And George is wonderful...still love him dearly. :xoxo:

when I was a teenie bopper, it was Paul, but when I got older and began to listen to lyrics instead of just looking at faces, John really started to shine.
I still remember the day he died and I lit a memorial candle for him the following Sunday like Yoko asked (I HATE that woman)..........I always felt sorry for Julian because he had his dad's looks and some of his talent and yet faded into obscurity. Prob due to Yoko no doubt.......did I say I HATE that woman?

I totally understand what you're saying. All I can say is that his legacy follows her around everywhere, and she's had lots of time to think about things she should have done differently. He loved her so much, and although I think she loved him, she had a real damn weird way of showing it, more often than not.
I too felt so bad for Julian, and you can still see it hurts him terribly. I was in Julian's fan club back in 1984 ~ fan #510! I still have all of my membership stuff, including a personal letter from Julian. Did you hear about the new book his mother Cynthia is releasing soon? It's supposed to reveal even more about her and John's relationship, than her first book...Julian is taking orders for autographed copies on his website.

"If there's someone you can live without, then do so.
And if there's someone you can just shove out, do so.
You can be my Yoko Ono
You can follow me wherever I go
Be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono.
Isn't it beautiful to see two people so much in love?
Barenaked as two virgins hand in hand and hand and hand in glove.
Now that I'm far away it doesn't seem to me to be such a pain.
To have you hanging off my ankle like some kind of ball and chain.
You can be my Yoko Ono
You can follow me wherever I go
Be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono.
Oh no, here we go, our life is just one big pun.
Oh no, here we go as Yoko sings
Aieee!
I know that when I say this
I may be stepping on pins and needles.
But I don't like all these people
slagging her for breaking up the Beatles.
(Don't blame it on Yokey!)"
I mean if I was John and you were Yoko,
I would gladly give up musical genius,
just to have you as my very own, personal Venus.
(Hit it!)
You can be my Yoko Ono
You can follow me wherever I go
Be my, be my, be my Yoko Ono."

Of course. Not everyone does...
Oh, and to the people complaining about Yoko: I hear ya. I personally like Yoko, but there are times when anything that woman does just irks me. And I still haven't gotten over her cruelty to Julian. That is just wrong.
But at least she made John happy...and they had Sean...two things I am very, very grateful for. (Sean... :xoxo: )
Definitely George. So cool and laid back. Plus the Travelling Willbury's connection.

People who dislike The Beatles are lacking in a certain amount of intelligence. Musically and historically there will never be a band that accomplished as much as The Beatles, and they should be respected at the very least for that.
And my favorite is John, followed by George
