I posted this over at BN... had no replies...
I figured you guys would probably know about it...
I found this website which claims to have rare concert DVDs.
There are like 3 Mac and 3 Stevie ones...
I was just wondering if anyone knew if they're good, reliable... whatever.
If you know anything let me know! lol
I'd love to have them... and they're pretty cheap.

Maybe it's the old Woodstock generation in me (even though that's not my generation), but this kind of thing just degrades fans & artists & music. Its basic message is: "Music isn't for enjoyment & spirit & generosity; it's for lining my personal coffers with money I make off other people's best impulses."

No way! Don't buy them. A lot of the traders have those dvds anyway. Set up a 2:1 or B & P with someone.

I've already seen the July 26th show torrent up on eBay, too. For $30, no less.

if you're so against the selling of these things on Ebay, then why on Earth don't you post a thread on each one?? this way we can all report it at once and every single one of these auctions can be shut down...

I had this friend in Pittsburgh who had seen some rare videos on the bootleg circuit, so he decided to become a bootlegger. Even though he had a few rarities, most of his inventory he rented from Blockbuster. He started by copying videotapes (many of which were copy protected), on EP speed, three to a tape as his masters. Then he would copy them again, one to a tape and sell them with the titles handwritten on the dollar store video box. He set up a website to sell them on (this was before ebay). I mean, come on. He should have just called the site "comeandgetme.com". LOL! He ended up buying a rare movie from another bootleg site and when the guy found out that he basically was ripping him off by selling his bootleg at a cheaper price he started sending him death threats. That was the end of that.
