View Full Version : Stevie & ALL the men shes ever been with:

So can anyone come up with a full number? I bet shes gives Blanch a run for her money!
Like im the biggest whore/swinger out there. The more people you sleep with the more I like you. Lets all elaborate on Stevie's men. To me she sounds like Joan Crawford. Joan slept with all her directors so she could control them. I wonder if Stevie slept with all the men in her life so she could control them too lol!
So what's the timeline for her banging Paul Fishkin? When did she start banging Jimmy Ivoine too, 81ish? Was this all at the same time?
I was under the impression Stevie and Paul started talking about her record label in the late 70s. She was seeing Mick then, maybe Paul too lol? I guess I should go back and read Mick's book again. Did Sara know Stevie was seeing Mick? Was it one big three way?
When did Stevie start doing Joe Walsh, in 83? What about her horse in the Cival War Stand Back video, Catherine The Great ;). I wouldnt hold it past her!!!! HAHAHA just kidding!
Don't worry Stevie, im still a bigger whore than you will ever be lol!!!!
Leave it to me to turn any thread into something trashy. Honestly I would love an accurate timeline of her slutiness. I wonder if she ever really got it on with Prince too hahaha. Do not forget Robyn's husband. Coke mixed with a bunch of booze will make anyone horny. Boy Stevie sure was busy hahaha!
I love Stevie for being a partying ho! To me I think she should of slept with more of the Eagles, and the Stones, a little of the Turtles, I bet everyone in the tent is freaking out right now  !

Well, she was claiming that she was still involved with Paul while she was on tour with the Mac in Australia and Japan in 1977. I am not sure when she met him, however. She was never very clear on how that relationship ended either.

What a tasteless thread... :distress:
Yes it is.. and how wonderful to read it!
Also remember, it was the 70's and 80's, it wasn't unusual to have more than one lover going at a time, so some of the men could have overlapped (perhaps not at the exact same time)... and I've no doubt there were many brief "lapses in judgement" in backs of limos and planes that we don't know about. When cocaine and alcohol mix, that's kinda what happens...

And we only have the names of a few. I am sure there are many many more we will never have a clue about. I'd love to see Stevie's little black book! Comparable to that of Heidi Fleiss perhaps? (just kidding people). I'm sure there would be some real gems in there. Damn I love that woman, always spreading the love :p.

Since she obviously wouldn't remember the majority of her trysts and one night stands, you know, because of the large quantity of them coupled with the years of making sure the cocaine filled every available orifice, perhaps when we finalize the list, we should laminate it and send it to her and her staff as a gift. The holidays are coming soon.

She does tend to keep her ex-boyfriends close though, and both of them are still around, so you never know!I'm the one who helped CL compile that list many years ago, back after she formed Stevie's newsgroup.
I argued with her about some of them -- like Brad -- but she figured strong possibilities deserved to make the list. I told her I thought it was possible Brad the choreographer was gay. As for Waddy, I guess that all started with Stevie herself in her Timespace notes for "If Anyone Falls." But Glenn P. told Stevie's biographer that that song was about HIM.

She wouldn't need to "pick up guys" - they'd be all over her anyway. Probably had her bodyguard pick out someone suitable occasionally, stash him in her limo for the ride back to the hotel. Oh to be a limo driver!!

Oh yeah... of course I didn't mean "pick up guys" as in go out and actively pursue! I'm probably getting the quote wrong, maybe she said "We didn't go home with guys every night" or whatever. I guess if she stayed in the limo that statement could still technically be true.

I would say the 50-100 number is probably not outrageous. You figure she started dating when she was... 15 or 16? She is 57... and has never been married (yeah, yeah, Kim, whatever). Even if she slept with one guy a year for all those years, we'd be at about 40. And she was a rock star through the 70s and 80s. She spent many years with Linds, but few of her other boyfriends who we know of were longterm. I don't find the number shocking.
And baby, more power to her.

Sure Stevie was promiscuous .She was a sex symbol, a huge rock star ,a Geminii and on plenty of high grade cociane and it was the 70s/early 80s .But to call her a ho is kind of a double standard when so many males in her same position carried on in the same manner or worse.Look at Micks' shenanigans and he was not nearly as attractive or as big of a star.Who wouldn't have wanted to cut up like that if they were in the same postion back when most of what you could catch doing it could be cured with a shot of anti-biotics.

David, is Kim Anderson a customary inclusion because they were technically married, or do you really think they had a romantic relationship? Personally, I doubt it very much.Moon weren't under the sheets with them two! I'd say the inclusion is due solely to the fact they were married.
That's an interesting theory you posit there, Tiff. Imagine if you married your best friend's widow out of grief or misguided concern for the child. Avoiding the sexual relationship in that context makes a lot of sense. As Christine wryly noted, "It doesn't seem like crazy love to me."

No one's mentioned Dennis Wilson or Hernan Rojas yet.
Oh man, Dennis Wilson is a strange sad story. The guy had so much going for him and he just ruined it with drugs and drinking. Poor guy ended up homeless near the end of his life. There was a book written about Dennis a couple of years ago that said while on the Tusk tour he bedded Stevie but it was prob no more than a one night stand. I've heard Dennis went after any woman around and cheated on Christine constantly. Mike

That's an interesting theory you posit there, Tiff. Imagine if you married your best friend's widow out of grief or misguided concern for the child. Avoiding the sexual relationship in that context makes a lot of sense. As Christine wryly noted, "It doesn't seem like crazy love to me."
and she didn't buy them a wedding present either

I thought Benmont Tench was the one who had the crush on her but I had no idea she actually had a thing for Stan. Okay--that makes perfect sense. Damn, this woman did like to sleep her way through bands didn't she? Let's see, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
I've heard that Benmont had a major crush on Stevie ( I can understand that) but she just wasn't interested. It must have been rough on him being on the Wild Heart tour since that was a crazy crazy tour from what I've heard. Hugh Hefner would have been envious at all the backstage goings on. As far as Stan Lynch, I guess he fell into that " wild bad boy" thing that Stevie must have fallen for. I've heard he was not the nicest person to be around. In fact, didn't Tom end up kicking him out of the Heartbreakers for being a major a##hole? Later on, Mike

Two of the more odd rumours about Stevie's alleged tryst back in the day were one with Rod Stewart when his Blondes Have More Fun album came out in 1978 it was rumoured that Stevie was the blonde on the album Rod's hand was covering the eyes of ..it wasn't.Even more silly was an alleged tale of a liason between Stevie and self proclaimed 'bi -sexual ' Elton John, who may have started the rumour himself (herself?) to help his then waning career and to quash his waxing Queen image.

Chris Isaak is sex. He is one hot hot hot dude. The sexy voice, the phucked up nose, the lovely face, the hot body; he's got it going on. Not to mention that Heart Shaped World is, like, the sexiest album ever recorded by anyone. I can't listen to it and not want to screw.

Can someone post that photo of Chris I and Stevie...the one where he is in a tux and she has that big hat on? The way she has her hand on his chest/stomach INSIDE his jacket makes me drool. They definately had at least one night together...they have tons of chemistry. AHI 2000? Ho****. Chris usually has a girlfriend and she is usually Asian but this was probably a one nighter in 2000ish. Sex on a stick.
That 'no sex since 94' quote was during the end of the seclusion period. By 1997, she obviously was thinking about men. You do not lose forty pounds, comment publically that you specifically lost 30 pounds "for the Dance tour" unless you are thinking about looking good, probably for a man. Yea, I know she might have wanted to look good for Stevie, but I totally think she had a man on her mind as motivation. Not the Dance dvd, but the TOUR was the epitomy of hot for Stevie in the last two decades. Her clothes, her level of confidence, her body, the flirtiness.....she was one hot, sexy chick.

Exactly. Even if Stevie is aware of this conversation (which I find hard to believe because I'm sure she has more important things to do, especially now), I have an easier time imagining her getting a kick out of her fans trying to piece together her love life than getting offended by it. She's made no secret of many of the men she's been with...hell, "Enchanted" was practically a tribute to them!

As if Stevie is some 16 year old ingenue worried about her reputation on an internet forum. I'm sure she's devastated.... All I'm sayin' is,
I think it's sorta interesting that there's 4,200 views of this topic,
compared to way less than that for all of the rest,
at a time like this.
Why take even the slightest chance of hurting Stevie's feelings
right now, at a time when she's feeling the way we all know she's
feeling. Do you guys think she feels like continuing her career at this
particular moment in time? Specifically what I was addressing is the
implication that Stevie is a "whore" and "slut," and yes, those words
were used. And I happen, by chance, to know for a fact that Stevie
is aware of the general tone of some of the topics on this board, and
no, she does not find it funny. Not by a long shot.
What I'm trying to say - and what many people - you'd be surprised who -
feel - is, that the TIMING of this discussion is somewhat bothersome,
considering that her DADDY just died. Let's try to cut her a break
on this stuff for a little while, just On General Principle.
Or you guys could turn this discussion into a flame war, what-eva,
but I'm done with it. And I'm sorry if I bothered anyone with my remarks
especially considering that I'm a "newbie" but I felt that there was an
insensitive tone here. I honestly did. It's just seems to be kind of
insensitive to what's going on in Stevie's life right now.
This is a time when Stevie needs and desires all the positive support
and love from the fans as she can get.
And this seems rather negative underneath the surface, to me,
and to many others.
Let me put it this way -
Would Don Henley laugh if he saw this discussion at this time?
Or would he be more likely to kick your ass?
Stevie is IN MORNING.
Respect her feelings.
Please.

Whore is such a nasty word, please dont ever utter it again in the context of anything Stevie. Have some dignity!
Having many love affairs is a world apart from being a whore.
And your attempt at humorizing the subject falls short.
And lastly give the woman a break, she is in mourning after all.
Well, no... that's no fun.

Guys, come on. Do you really think Stevie Nicks sits around all day reading The Ledge....
Honestly, I don't think the timing of this thread has any relevance. Nor are most people being at all disrespectful to her. There are plenty of other threads on this board that have been way more hurtful towards her. And compared to many message boards across the world wide web, this one is soft as a baby's butt. I don't go to many message boards (okay, like no others, pretty much) but I checked out one recently on the recommendation of someone here and I was actually repulsed by the viciousness and ugliness on it. This thread is simply a discussion about a part (or many parts) of Stevie's life - a life she has spoken about freely and openly. I mean, she has pretty much documented her love life in her music. If she truly didn't want people to know about, she wouldn't have written songs about it.
I'm also not sure why I should care what Don Henley would think of me writing this; I could not actually care less.

You know, Stevie has that line in her song, HAEWAFY. "And when they ask her about the men in her life, and they do ask her, she says, 'Well, they were poets, and yet they were priests of nothing, but they were legends." Since that song was penned ions ago, we can assume that people have been asking about the men in her life for a long time.
She has always been so honest about the men that she loved. Be it for one night or for a full blown relationship. She doesn't shy away from questions like that and has been shockingly open about this stuff.
I don't think she would be offended or upset to read this thread. I think she would think it is funny as hell. (minus any nasty words or names that I missed). I also believe that she doesn't hang out on message boards and while in 2001 (when I met her), she said she has no desire to own or use a computer, she has now been quoted saying she sent Sheryl Crowe email, so maybe she is opening up to the internet, but she isn't a Ledgie yet.
Continue on with her poets, priests of nothing and legends -

If the truth be known, anybody remotely close to the age of 40 (I'm 47), who grew up in the 70's will be with ya on that one! I actually started counting one time...and gave up after awhile....Things were so totally different then. I don't think my children could've taken it!! And being a rock star like Stevie....there wasn't a guy back then that didn't have her on the top of their fantasy list, probably girls, too. That's one reason why she smiles (IMO) when they ask her if there were anything she'd do differently....and says "no...not a thing". I had a blast...and would do it all over again, with a little better view. :)

I was a coke addict and there's a lot I don't remember. We're never going to get all the details from Stevie about every guy she was ever with coz frankly, she probably doesn't know herself. That's why it's so much fun to speculate and help her put the pieces together. We're just aiming at the famous. I bet there were a bunch of unknowns.

Oh, boo hoo. Maybe she'll take our advice and actually start editing her songs, then.
It's no secret that Stevie was the Winona Ryder of the music industry back in the day. Since the woman insists on being "honest" and "telling the truth" in her songs, and also has no qualms about shoving her numerous affairs down our throats, it's only natural that her fans would discuss her love life. I, personally, don't have an interest in who she slept with or how often, I just want confirmation that she tapped Chris Isaak once or twice.

Oh, I want to know that one too - SN's comments in her songbook were very cryptic "had nothing to do with love" and all that - what the #### happened there? I know there was some gossip about him getting a package of drugs, and another saying she found out he was gay... the latter I'm not inclined to believe - the music industry is pretty small and she would have probably known his orientation if not before then during the time they worked together...

What do you mean her songbook and what was the "nothing to do with love" quote in reference to? I don't think I'm buying this rumour. Just because they worked very closely together and were shacked up in that castle in the Hollywood hills doesn't meant they were hitting it.

Sorry, I should have said liner notes:
"It always seemed to me that whenever Rupert walked into one of these old, dark castle rooms, that the rooms were on fire. There was a connection between us that everyone around us instantly picked up on, and everyone was very careful to respect our space...our TIMESPACE, so we all lived at the castle for about four-and-a-half months. I went home with him to England to mix the album at his studio...he left in December. I joined him there in London in January. We left immediately for his studio, Farmyard Studios, somewhere outside London. It was like being in a cottage in Wales, it was a little spooky...the atmosphere was like nothing I had ever experienced. Then something happened to him that simply made it impossible for us to ever be together again. I left him there...the rooms were still burning, but the fire had been stolen from us. It wasn't over love, in fact...it had nothing to do with love. It was just a bad situation. I came back to Los Angeles, a very changed woman. And now, long nets of white...cloud my memory...Now I remember the rooms, the music, and how truly magic the whole think was...

Oh no, my interpretation was that they WERE in love... but then they had to break up ("the fire was stolen" from them) because of a "bad situation" that had nothing to do with their love. That's just the way I've always read that since Timespace came out.
(If indeed they did find out he had a child with another woman, and she had to leave so he could deal with that situation, it would make sense that she would say that other situation had nothing to do with love... like they had to break up over his obligation to the mother of his child rather than his being in love with this other woman... but I'm probably reading way too much into it.)

Rupert was probably someone Stevie loved, she says as much in the TS linear notes, but that was in the midst of klonopin ravaged Stevie. She never mentions the guy at all anymore. Rumour way back when was that Rupert had a wife, who got pregnant, while Rupert was supposedly "with" Stevie. So, she moved on. Thats the way I remember the Rupert relationship anyway.

Me, too. Exactly. And I agree with Sarafield, the relationship was definitely about love. The break-up was not. It wasn't that they fell out of love - they were forced apart by something else.
I wonder if Stevie experienced a little "deja-vu" in and around 1998.... Hmmm...

i adore stevie, and i really dont want to but i think i'm starting to lose alot of respect for her! i mean even if it was alot of guys, that wouldnt be bad, but this is making her sound like such a slut! especially sleeping with christines boyfriends-christine was supposed to be her best friend wasnt she? i dont want to severely dislike one of my 2 biggest idols (the other one being christine of course!) but its going that way. :distress: :sorry:
I am not sure why you would start to dislike Stevie because she may or may not have slept with any of these men, uh, twenty five years ago?? She isn't really the same way now, I would venture to guess. These were crazy times, the seventies, lots of partying, drinking, free love. EVERYONE was doing it. Christine isn't upset with Stevie, so why should you be? Maybe Stevie was with Curry first? There are plenty of rumours of Christine and Lindsey too, by the way. (I am not saying I believe that but people have said it before) If they still love each other, who cares??

its not because she did all that, i understand that that it was a crazy time, i mean chris probably did it too, i just thought stevie would have more morals thats all, its my opinion. i dont even really believe it, i think some people just get a bit over exited and link her to every man she ever looked at.

But really, you have no base on which to judge that. It was a different time, a different space. I don't think any of what Stevie has done in her life provides a basis for anyone, fans or foes, to judge her. And truly, unless you know her personally, you have no reason to tihnk she'd have more or less morals, right? More or less than whom? I'm not saying this to be bitchy; just an observation. (Though some may just think I'm saying it to be bitchy. Whatev).

Completely agree! I don't think this thread was started to be judgmental, it was just supposed to be fun. If I'd had a chance to bed rich, famous, creative, charismatic men... well I might not have chosen the same men as Stevie ;-) but I'd have done it, too, especially in those days. Then again, I don't equate celibacy with having "morals" -- never quite got that.
