Boy do I remember that! It'll get better, then worse, then better....All mine are grown, gone...their plate has been officially broken! But I do remember the feeling of that first day...you want to call (and I'm sure many do) and check on them a couple of times that day. You're happy and sad.... :xoxo:

My first day of first grade was in September of 1977. I can remember it well. I hated it too. All the best to you Jill, itll get better :)

Thats a cute pic Jill. It will get easier. I, will be doing cartwheels next Monday when school starts. My house is where the pack gathers..lol...
At the begining of summer it's not to bad, but now their bored with each other and fight and bicker. These are 12 to 14 year olds.
Today I made them get together and I took a picture of them.

Bless him. I can remember when both of mine started school. I was the one trying not to cry!

today was my son's first day of Kindergarten. Thankfully, no tears or acting up.
also had a new day care provider to get used to so it was a big day all around..
Gosh, kids grow up so fast...I can still remember when his big sister's had THEIR first days......um 20 years ago or more.....somehow a mom can always still picture those first days...
all the same
