In The Meantime survivor: Rounds 9-10

[macfan 57]

We're on to Round 9. We're left with 4 fantastic songs:

Friend
You Are
Northern Star
Calumny

[face of glass]

A good one, but I think the two singles and the other Dan Perfect-penned tune are superior.

[Gailh]

Northern Star

Gail

[Aisling]

i'm so sad that forgiveness got voted off. why???????????? anyway, i vote nothern star again.

[GateandGarden]

Screw strategery! I'm still voting for "You Are." Poor "Forgiveness." :distress:

[ThePenguin]

Northern Star this time.

-Lis

[golden braid]

that's what i did last round. . .forgiveness is my fave, but i couldn't bear to vote off calumny either. i think i'm too emotional about these songs to use strategy!! !

I just find both Northern Star, and Calumny, to have such a calming quality.
Yes, I like calming. :)

[Dark Angel]

[Hippocampus]

Calumny to go. No more libels and slanders please.

[GateandGarden]

Calumny to go. No more libels and slanders please. But slander is oral. How would one do that on a message board?

English major being a prick here. :wavey:

[macfan 57]

It looks like nothing is going to save my favorite "Calumny", so I'll go with Northern Star, which I love too. Dan Perfect sure wrote 2 beautiful songs.

I was only mentioning two forms of calumnies in an attempt to illustrate my vote. I wasn't referring to posts on the Ledge :)

[ontheEdgeof17]

Calumny....buh bye

[CreepingDeath]

[macfan 57]

Unfortunately, "Calumny" is gone. It's my favorite song on the album & it's easily among my top ten Christine songs ever, maybe top five.

Calumny-8
Northern Star-5
You Are-3

Now we move on to Round 10. This will decide which 2 songs make it to the final round. I have a pretty good idea which 2 songs those will be. ;) Here's what's left(the first three songs on the album):

Friend
You Are
Northern Star

[Gailh]

Northern Star

Gail

[GateandGarden]

"You Are" ..

[mondaymornin1]

Really hard to decide at this point. I love the remaining 3!

[face of glass]

Mary Anne guessed right.

[GypsySorcerer]

I actually want "Friend" to go, but my vote goes to Northern Star in an attempt to save "You Are."

[macfan 57]

Though I'd rather see 'Friend' go than any of the others.

[ontheEdgeof17]

Friend, to go.....even though it won't. BLAH.

[ThePenguin]

Northern Star.

-Lis

[Aisling]
