Oh.My.God.
It would really take some work for me to think of 10 game shows...

Okay
Jeopardy (my fave)
Price is Right
Joker's Wild

mmm, okay, those are the only ones I ever liked. I suppose i could include Matchgame PM...I like amazing race, but I don't think I'd count it in the same category.

Match Game, for sure! I can remember watching it as a little kid in the 70s. Wasn't everyone drunk on that show?

So, I have a question, maybe for Diss...
we like jeopardy, right?
Did you ever notice how moronic and easy the questions were for that Millionare show with Regis?
Why didn't we go on that show?!

I don't even remember how it worked, I just know I was mesmerized by all the purple, and that Devil thing. That devil thing was rad. :)

The questions were ridiculously easy for that **** show! Even Alex Trebek came out and said it was a show for idiots. We would have cleaned up.

I read that they're going to have a movie edition of it in February for a week, so it might be interesting. Regis bugs the **** out of me, though, I can't stomach him.

yeah, Regis sucks. I hate how there's 10 minutes between every question, with fricking sound effects, too. Oh, man...we would kick ass!!! I liked it when that lady, was it Meredith Viera, or something? I didn't know her, but I saw her on that show and she was better than Reeg. The movie one will probably be even easier...to bad you didn't get on that one!
Do you keep track of how many you get right when you watch jeopardy? I do.. :p

2. Match Game (for obvious reasons)
3. Family Feud (those poses each family did before the game  )
4. The Newly Wed Game ("name a place were your wife likes to make whoopee..." Husband- "I dunno... in the a**hole?) ever see that episode?

* Does anyone know the game show where the contestants keep pushing these buzzers, screaming at the top of their lungs, "Come on BIG BUCKS! NO WHAMMY! NO WHAMMY!" ?

Oh, damn. I'm such a sucker for making lists. Let's see if I can come up with 10.

1 - The Price Is Right
2 - Match Game
3 - Win Lose Or Draw
4 - Survivor (I hate the term 'reality TV,' it's a damn game show!)
5 - Remote Control
6 - Jeopardy
7 - Celebrity Fit Club

...uhm, can I finish later? I might think of three more.

I wanted to **** the host sooo bad. Of course, I was 11 at the time, so I'm not sure I would've known how, exactly. What was that guy's name?

markolas

Mark Summers!

I wouldn't have minded getting into his pants, either. Those incredibly full lips kissing every square inch while his big, masculine hands caressed your hot, quivering...oh, god I need to get back to work.

1) MXC ("Right you are, Ken!" DON'T GET ELIMINATED!!)

2) Match Game (Gene Rayburn was the best...and Charles Nelson Reilly was a crackup, but when Michael Berger hosted it in the mid-90's---with Judy Tenuta as the main regular---it was pretty good, too)

3) Win, Lose Or Draw (the origins of Pictionary! Bert & Burt!)

4) Jepoardy (I still like the original---with Art Fleming as host & the legendary Don Pardo as announcer---the best)

5) Win Ben Stein's Money (Jimmy Kimmel before he got annoying)

6) Can't remember the name of it, but it was on MTV way back when, with Ken Ober as host & Colin Quinn as announcer...the contestants sat in overstuffed recliners. AHhhh...totallycait listed it...Remote Control

7) Password (from the early 60's)

8) Tattletales (celebrity couples' gossip about their spouses)

9) GE College Bowl (yeah, I'm that old to remember this one)

10) Concentration (ditto)

Mark Summers!

You mean the guy who tried to make "History IQ" dramatic?!?

As a child, Legends of the Hidden Temple on Nickelodeon :woohoo:

I used to watch that show all the time. There was another game show on Nick that I *think* was called 'Guts' that I would watch too.

My other favs:

1. Jeopardy
2. Match Game - I'm sure the whole panel was drunk :woohoo:
3. Weakest Link
4. Tattletales- My grandma had a crush on Bert Convy
5. Joker's Wild

1. Match Game---This is my favorite of all times! It is so funny. I think they should have called it, you can't say "penis." That is what is so funny; every clue could have been made into something dirty.

2. Password---The old version is the best.

3. To Tell the Truth

4. I've Got a Secret

5. Newlywed Game

6. What's My Line?

7. The Price Is Right

As you can see, I'm a sucker for old game shows. I used to watch them all the time on Game Show Network.

I've been watching The Price Is Right since 1974, and it's my all time favorite. My favorite moment was this one time when this lady with really big juggs was running down to contestants row had her shirt fall down, exposing her boobs. Does anyone else remember that time?
