View Full Version : Anyone dream about Stevie?

OK, it's 6 AM here and I just woke up from a very realistic dream about Stevie. This is the first time it's happened, so it was surprising. In the dream, I go to one of her concerts and it's a small show with a small crowd. She not only sings but plays the drums as well and her hair is flying all over the place and she's got that "crazy Mick" look in her eyes while playing drums. Anyhow, the show ends and there's some talk that we can buy *genuine* photo albums of Stevie and her band, but there's only about 10 available. So I make friends with this huge man in line next to me and he agrees to get me one (how he was going to get one, I don't know...), but in the end Stevie decided to keep the albums for herself and not sell any!
The dream ended with her announcing a permanent gig in Arizona (sort of like Wayne Newton in Vegas). Anyone want to do a dream analysis?? :p

my Stevie dreams are usually similar...usually at a show...often she comes out to a small crowd, and never sings anything....one time someone took her shoe off while she was singing and she walked off stage lol

I'm no expert, but here is a fantastic dream analysis site. You type in a symbol ("hair", "drums", etc.) of a main element of the dream and then read the interpretation! Sometimes, I'm really surprised about what the symbol actually means! Very cool and thought I'd share!

I actually had a dream the other night that I met her. Too bad that's probably the closest I'll get. Oh well :woohoo:

My Stevie dream is usually the same. She is performing to a small crowd that I'm in and I'm usually so close I could reach out and touch her but it never happens. It's always magical. I always wake up and think....Damn. I could have stayed in that one longer.

If you look around on Buckingham/Nicks or Sararhiannon,
there's old photos of Stevie messing around with playing drums,
cowbells, etc. I think that was maybe when she was still sorta
"under Christine's wing" and they were trying to help her learn
as much as possible about different instruments, etc., in case this
"Taking Over the Entire Music World" gig didn't work out for her...
Always helps to have a back-up plan

I always have really stupid dreams about them that make no sense. Like one time I had a dream that Lindsey married my mom and they moved into a trailer with his 10 kids. He was wearing a wife beater, had a pot belly, and the crazy little children were running around all over the place. All I could think about was how mad I was that I didn't find him hot any more
Another time a dreamed that fleetwood Mac was having a concert at some farm out in the middle of nowhere and in one of the farm buildings Stevie was teaching a Music School. She gave everyone inatimate objects to play and as they all sat very confused she seemed ever so proud of the good job she was doing.

i always have the same re-occuring Stevie dream...
it's been years since she's been on tour, no one has even seen her for years... i'm there at her solo show opening night and "Outside The Rain" begins to play... she emerges from the center of the stage and the crowd gasps as they see her - she walks toward the front of the stage, holding a bouquet of roses and weighing about 350lbs... her hair is straight and just passed her shoulders... she's wearing a tight black dress down to her ankles.. she begins to sing and her voice has become so deep, it's unrecognizable...
nice dream, huh? ;)

I had a dream a week ago with Stevie starring in my dream. It was really weird. I knew I was going to a party with Stevie. The limo rolls up and out pop people caring huge stuffed animals (which I hate) that Stevie was giving me as a gift. Then I got into the limo with her and her entourage and headed to some party. In the dream, I passed out at the party and woke to find Stevie long gone. Haha. I was so pissed in my dream that she ditched me. Then ended up having breakfast with friends at iHop.
Just too weird.

I had a dream a few years ago about Stevie, Sheryl, and myself. We were shopping at a very upscale store, and doing the girl thing.... just like we were all best friends. And that's about it.

I dream about Stevie and CHER quite a bit. Always have. When I dream about Stevie, it is always backstage. When I dream about CHER, it is always in her house. And when I awaken from these dreams...I am DEVASTATED!!

Strange but true...

I have Stevie dreams quite often - the weirdest one was when she was in a wheelchair and we were eating Oreos together.
Edit: I had that dream at least 10 years ago, it has nothing to do with her recent quote in my signature.

sounds like my neighbors down the street (minus the trailor), the husband looks like he's pregnant with quadruplets!
Last night i had a dream about Stevie & Lindsey during their Buckingham Nicks days.... Stevie had brown hair & Lindsey's fro was really big! There was some guy there bossing them around, telling them what to wear, and yelling at Stevie for eating  ..... i was apparently 12 in the dream & my job was to wait on Stevie... i brought Stevie her lunch & this dude knocks it right outta my hand & starts screaming "Pick it up!!!" Then Stevie justs starts crying & keeps saying to me "I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." Then i started to cry & then Lindsey starts screaming in this guy's face, "what the hell is the matter with you man!"..... very weird & upsetitng

Uhh - OHH-kay - welll, me, I've had FOUR dreams with Stevie in them,
over the years.
One was really recent - Stevie was up on stage all alone, wearing her
black dress, with her hair like in Beauty & the Beast, but instead of
seats in the arena there were fancy round tables with white tablecloths.
Stevie was acting very confused as if she didn't know what to say,
and then finally she just smiles and makes an "outward" gesture with
her arms and says, "TEA for EVERYBODY!!!"
Weird - but isn't it easy to picture?
Another one was a little more complex - I was in an empty corridor,
a circular one, of course, with LOTS and LOTS of doors in it ( naturally...)
I chose one and walked in - a LOT of famous people were in the room
having a party, either standing around talking or sitting down at a large
table and eating. I walked over to the table, and someone handed me
a sheet of music and said, "If you want to stay, you have to sing this
and sing it well!" Well, I can't sing to save my LIFE!
Stevie was standing over in the corner talking and laughing with friends -
probably Sharon, etc. She saw me, walked quickly over, GRABBED the
sheet out of my hands while sighing with exasperation, and then SANG
it for me. She then, without saying a word, shoved the sheet back in to
my hands and walked away quickly without even saying a word, and went
back to talk and laugh with her friends. I then sat down at the table,
and saw that Howard Stern was sitting across from me. I also quickly
discovered that there was very little elbow room! Then Mick -
who of course was sitting at the head of the table - looked at me wisely
and said, "OKAY, so you get to sit DOWN - - - but will you get to STAY?"
The third was weird too - Stevie was sitting on a stage - this wasn't a
fancy place, it was really pretty run down and dark, lots of black colors -
she was sitting at a right angle to the crowd, on a cold metal folding
chair with a bunch of other people, also in folding chairs - she was
receiving some kind of award. After the ceremony, she was sitting all
by herself and she looked very sad and lonely, and was staring down at
the floor, seemingly deep in reflection, remembering. Then a REALLY
tough looking older man came out, and without speaking to each other
he put her coat on her and his arm around her shoulders and then they
walked off stage - "Exit Stage Left." Before they turned to go he just
kinda looked at me real quick - not really threatening, just more like,
"do the MATH kid." Then my MOM came out and sat down quietly next
to me, and said, "You know, they're starting the PARTY downstairs!"
And I was like, "Do you think STEVIE will be there?" And she said,
"Well I don't know!" but at the same time shook her head "No."
The LAST one was a lot simpler - she was just shooting a video -
looked very healthy and thin like she did during T I S L - and they had
her lined up with a bunch of other people - rows and columns of maybe
15 or 20 people - in front of a green screen, and music would play
and all they were doing was leaning together in different directions
( all of them leaning in a certain direction at the same time, then
another direction, etc. ) And that was the whole thing.
OH-kay, hope you enjoyed hearing 'bout them!
I'll be sitting right here waiting for the nice men in white
coats!

Yes, I have them all the time. :)
I had a bizarre Stevie dream about a year ago where I was with her in her dressing/hotel room. She was seated at a giant white piano but she seemed really irritated and distracted. I asked her what was wrong and she said she had a hard time rehearsing without her ice cream sandwiches(!). I asked her what she meant and she got really huffy and jittery and asked me if I had any. There was a deep freeze in the corner of the suite so I went to go and look and there WERE a bunch of ice cream sanwiches but they were half eaten.
Well you can't give Stevie freakin' Nicks a half eaten ice cream sandwich so I start to dig to the bottom and find a whole one and give it to her. Her mood immediately shifts and she perks up as she eats it. Then she starts to play on the piano and sings loosely so I just sit quietly and listen. As weird as it was at least it ended well!

What a great thread. You all have such interesting dreams (except that one where the poor girl kept getting abused and Stevie crying, that was just disturbing). I had a really wierd dream with Stevie in it just the other day. I dreamt I was watching a movie that she was starring in. I don't remember anything about the movie, just that she wasn't a very good actress in it. LOL! I've never seen her act, so it's not based on reality at all. Didn't she do a cameo on some kids show on Nickelodian once?
