Well, this isnt a tough one for me. October 3, 1997, Riverfront Colesium, Cincinnati Ohio. After having waited for 20 years,I drove the 700 miles from Minneapolis to see them live for the first time. The feeling I had when they walked onto the stage is something I wont ever forget. Also, I vividlyremember all the Lindsey birthday signs everyone was holding up. What a night!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Detroit, 2004. Final show of the SYW tour.

Stood at Stevie's feet for the entire show - got a special handshake and exchanged a few words with her. Caught Lindsey staring at me which made him smile, which made me smile. And just revelled in seeing them together one more time... hoping it wouldn't be the last time...

The most memorable Mac concert was definitely the Dance tour show I saw in 97. I was only 7 years old and I still remember a lot of it. Even though the show wasn't too great set list wise it was still worth it to see Christine.

That's easy...the Calgary show on the SYW tour last July. I was in the 3rd row, but managed to push my way up to the front for the last third of the concert. I was able to give Stevie a portrait I drew of her and she thanked me, got a rose from her mic stand, made eye contact with Lindsey through the whole show, got one of his sweaty towels (which I know some people think that's gross, but I love it!) AND Lindsey mouthed the words "you're beautiful" to me right before the last song, "Goodbye Baby" where he did not take his eyes off me while he sang back-up on the chorus.

Best goddam night of my life!!!! :]

Yeah, that sounds like a pretty perfect night! And you reminded me... at my Detroit show I mentioned above, I also got the ribbons off Stevie's mic at the end of the show. How the heck did I forget that???  It was the perfect icing on an already spectacular night. *sigh*

Yeah, you're getting three from me, too.

Bridgeport, CT-SYW, 2003
Because it was my very first front row experience and it was amazing. I was in the perfect position between Stevie and Lindsey and even though, before the concert, I thought I would be overwhelmed--I wasn't. I was just standing there in awe, drinking every second of it in--and it was like the entire audience disappeared and I was getting a personal concert.
Plus, at one point, Lindsey saw me taking pictures and was trying to "pose" for a second, and I kept snapping the shutter at the wrong moment--which he seemed to find amusing.
It was a fabulous concert and I was just in seventh heaven.

Jones Beach, SYW, 2004
Because Stevie was making a comeback of sorts, after being ill and having to cancel a few shows. It was the freakiest concert--weather-wise. It was so cold and a bit rainy but you forgot all about it when they hit that stage and Stevie was so "on." Plus, to me, that was the best performance of Sara that I saw--outdoors--by the water--with Stevie being her Royal Stevieness. The weather actually added a whole other dimension to things--big old drama in to an already dramatic concert.

Camden, 2004
Again--front row--and some of the canned speeches were...well, canned...in favor of words from the heart and some of the songs were ultra-emotional. It was wonderful. Plus, that whole day was my personal greatest day as far as interaction with the band (talked and/or met Mick, Stevie and Lindsey)...so, it holds SUCH a place in my heart.

May 2003, Birmingham, Alabama---my first FM concert ever, though I've been a fan since I was a little girl....Somehow, despite the fan club debacle, I managed to get front row seats, which were situated directly in front of Stevie. I nearly cried when they walked onstage, truly overwhelming for a fan of so many years finally getting to see her heros! Of course, it would've been 100% perfect if only Christine had been there too.

May 2004, Nashville, TN---I paid big $$$$$ for second row seats for my daughter and me, and we moved up to the stage right at Lindsey's feet for the entire show. My daughter, who was only 6 at the time, proceeded to flirt with him (winking, grinning, etc.) throughout the show, and since I had to hold her on my hip the entire time, we got lots of eye contact with him. (it took a couple of weeks for the feeling to return in my hip!) He even reached out for her so that she could grab his hand! I got Lindsey's autograph on Tusk, and when we left to go to our car, it was pouring!!! My daughter and I stomped through the mud while I held the autograph under my shirt with one hand, and her hand with the other one. One of the best nights of my life. Great mother/daughter memory that we'll never forget. (wish my mom had been as cool as me ;) )

I'm ready to do it again. My credit card is paid off....let's get busy, guys.....

All the SYW shows I went to are memorable for one reason or another.

Dallas, Texas - July 3, 2003 - My first FM show ever, it was amazing!! My adrenaline was pumping like nobody's business. We didn't have front row seats, but decent seats in the lower balcony. It was my mom, Seteca, his friend and myself and we all had a blast! The gals sitting next to us were not amused at my screaming, nor was the man in front of Seteca, but his friend was and turned around to smile at me many times. Hee!!

Birmingham, England - November 25, 2003 - My first front row experience with FM. When Lindsey came out, he came up to our section and I pointed at him and he pointed right back at me and looked me in the eyes...I was stoked!!

London, England - November 29 and 30, 2003 - The 29th show was weird, since we didn't have front row (more like 25th or something), but LB's ISA that night was the one I will NEVER forget. Also, the Tusking of the guitar, EEK!! The 30th was terrific being up front again and getting many looks from Lindsey and having fun with my friends.

Manchester, England - December 3, 2003 - Holy crap. Seteca got his M1 signed by Lindsey!! We were all so happy and excited that night for him! I got my BN album signed that night!!

London, England - December 10, 2003 - I got groped by some drunk guy, but other than that, it was awesome, since it was the last show in England...and we paid out the nose for our front row tickets.

Dallas, Texas - June 16, 2004 - I cried during Red Rover and got another BN album signed and my OOTC album signed!! Also, my mom was right there with me. :)

The Woodlands, Texas - June 17, 2004 - Unfortunately, my experience for the most part, sucked because of ONE drunk-ass beyotch. Other than that, it was amazing, since I got to give Lindsey a book I made for him and a poster that said Lindsey Rules. Many people told me I was on the jumbotron thingy as well....and Lindsey showed Stevie my book!!!!!

Anyways, that's my most memorable FM concert. ;)

ETA: The Woodlands was probably my most memorable because of how bad a time I had, plus, I got to actually SPEAK to Lindsey when I gave him his book. He gave me a look like "Do you want me to sign this or..." and I go "That's for you!" and he goes "Thank you." and I said "You're welcome!" :D

It was amazing.
Truly one of those nights that will live forever in my mind. I liked the venue, the sound...FM was in a great, relaxed mood and security seemed to be fair.

Just a gorgeous night among friends hearing the band at their best. Can't ask for much more (but I will...FM 2006??? I'm saving up already).

The Tusk tour December of 1979 ..the end of the 1970s and really the beginning of the end of an era which would culminate the following September at the Hollywood Bowl. The band's chemistry would never quite be this way again ..IMO Fleetwood Mac were at the height of their creativity and performance and were really doing it for the art perhaps for the last time ever.I was a high school kid and my own excesses of the 1980s and terrible losses of the 1990s were still in the future. When I remember my own innocence I remember this show.

Have only been to 2, both Manchester UK conerts SYW tour, the most memorable being on 04/12/03 as not only did I speak to L and shook hands with S but also saw them get extremely angry at some guys having a full blown fist fight in the 4th row and screaming at them 'HOW DARE YOU FIGHT AT OUR CONCERT - GET OUT!!'

Hmmm...

September 1974: The taping of the Don Kirshner's Rock Concert TV show at the Long Beach Auditorium Center Theatre. First time ever seeing them live.

December 1974: Long Beach Arena. First time seeing them in a REAL concert setting. Climax Blues Band was the opening act. One of, if not THE, final concert appearance by Bob Welch as a member of Fleetwood Mac.

Thanksgiving Night, 1975: Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Third row center....sitting directly in front of me was Bob Welch.

December 1979: GW Forum. The only night of the 5 night stand that the USC Marching Band played with them on "Tusk". Sat 10th row center. John almost fell asleep during "Dreams"...let out a big yawn in the middle of the song.

Sept 1980: Hollywood Bowl. Final night of the "Tusk" tour. Mick screwed up the beginning of "Think About Me"...Christine jokingly gave him a bunch of **** for it. Left thinking that we wouldn't see Lindsey & Stevie in the band anymore. {Damn, they came back.}

1982 GW Forum: Both nights of the filming of the Mirage video. One night they were all lovey-dovey, the next night they almost scratched each others eyes out. You can see on the video that they edited the performances from the two shows into one. Since they go from all smiles to daggers in mid-song. Didn't happen that way in reality.

December 1990: Final night of the Behind The Mask tour. Bought tickets THAT DAY, sat right in front of the soundboard. They opened with "In The Back Of My Mind" segueing into "The Chain". Lindsey shows up to play "Landslide" in mid-set...comes back for the encores "Go Your Own Way" & "Tear It Up".

Dress Rehearsal L.A. 4/26/03: So excited to see & hear them for the first time since '97, plus the setlist was pretty much a surprise to me. We were way in back, but security didn't really care if we walked up the aisles & hung out for a bit. Hearing the opening guitar of RTTG, I planted myself at Stevie's feet & sang every word of it with her. This is also where I met Tiff & Anita & started trading.

Toronto 9-03: Kickass show, 10th row center, and I met Theresa (bikerchic) & her husband for the first time. This is the show where Theresa was front row & got me LB's autograph. :xoxo:

Hershey 6-04: I mainly remember this one because I thought there was no way in hell I'd get to see them again this tour.

Then I found a way - YAY!
Then my hopes were dashed when they cancelled - BOO! Then they rescheduled - YAY!
For the night before my Goddaughter's Christening - BOO!

I went to the show alone, but hubby drove me the 6 hours from Buffalo, took me to a restaurant to meet a bunch of peeps from Mick's Board (he hung out with friends we have in the area), then picked me up after the show & drove right back home in the middle of the night. We got 3 hours sleep & made the Christening. So, so worth it just to see Red Rover & Sara. Actually, I didn't remember the show itself being all that great, but I just got the DVD & it was really a great performance!

Same story, except right before the last song, "Goodbye Baby", he blew me a kiss and said "Thank you." September 12, 2003, Knoxville, TN on the Say You Will tour, the best night of my life! ;)
