Welcome to my In The Meantime survivor. It's about time we did a survivor for this wonderful little album of Christine's from last year. The rules are the same as those for the Mystery To Me survivor we just finished. Each round will go for 1 day. I'll add up the votes each morning when I first log on to the Ledge. There will be no immunity questions. Just vote for your least favorite song. Here are the songs on the album:

EDIT: I just remembered that I forgot to mention that if there's a tie when I add up the votes, there will be sudden death & the next vote will break the tie.

oh fabulous, a game! well this isn't going to be a popular choice, but i will cast my vote for 'sweet revenge'. it's the only track i find myself skipping consistently.

I thought the first round would have us all voting off the same song but maybe this will be more interesting! :) I'm going for "Bad Journey," which I think is aptly named. It's the only song on the album that I truly don't like, others just aren't favorites or are.

It's a very even album, so choosing songs to be voted off isn't easy. I'm going with "Givin' It Back" though, I like the bridge but the rest of the song isn't great shakes in my book.

I'll go with Easy Come, Easy Go. This song has grown on me, but it's still my least favorite on the album. And, I don't especially like her co-writer on this song. ;)

This will be hard. There are only a couple of songs on this cd that I skip, and I don't even skip those every time!

It's not too much of a surprise to me that Easy Come, Easy Go got the most votes this first round. So it's gone.

I'm sticking with "Bad Journey."

I played the CD all the way through last night and I decided that the worst songs have to be "Bad Journey," which I cannot bring myself to like at all, and "Givin' it Back," which is somehow better than "Bad Journey."

And you better put away your "Forgiveness" vote this early in the game, Curtis! :mad: ;)

That song is one of my favorites.I'm listening to the CD right now and I have to say that I like "So Sincere" more than I did before, though I think it's all in the "Heart was beating like a drum," ('cause I'm a sucker for anything like that) and the way she sings "Oh, didn't you like my love song, darling?" (love her voice there). It's still not one of the best on the CD, IMO.

And "Forgiveness" is probably my favorite. It's close to "Friend," though.

I didn't know that. I noticed earlier in this thread that someone posted "10 characters". I guess that's what that meant. :D

Well round 2 was pretty clear cut. Bad Journey is gone, although I like it quite alot.
