At the Rumours era section, I learned that these two songs were both made and considered for use on 1988's Greatest Hits. Was the right decision made? Which one would you have chosen to use?
Definitely 'No Questions Asked'

Well, neither - but the alt. version of NQA that starts with her singing "No questions asked" is FAR superior to the sonic nightmare on the released one - so, I pick the alt. version of NQA

I don't like either! Especially when they are placed next to songs like Rhiannon and Gypsy. If it comes down to a choice between two crappy songs for a greatest hits album, they should have gone with neither.

I like them both. Did anyone else notice that the music in NQA starts off kind of wrong? The Keyboard/bell ring is off on the very first note.

I went with NQA, although I love them both. It fits the Greatest Hits album more...it has that feel of a hit, while Paper Doll is a great opener for the boxset.

I think Paper Doll is poignant and it has a cool beat to beat. I think it is almost alternative sounding with itsw Cajun/Zydeco esq beat.

Well, one night I was playing Stevie for some drag queens in my car and this song came on. They all said it was the perfect drag number cuz of the beat and Cajun sound.

For the record and for the casual observer - I was NOT one the drag queens in Curtis' car  But, I am from Lafayette, Louisiana, the home of Cajun music

They both suck big time. The only good thing about them is that they are Stevie Nicks songs. Other than that they blow, so neither.

Sheesh. I guess NQA, just because the alternate is a little better. I think both of these songs should be collecting dust in the demo bin. Paper Doll is kind of funky, but the vocal is pretty darned croaky. NQA is fatally infected with the "well" virus and has one of the clunkiest lyrics ever. After the one two punch of these new songs back then, I really started to wonder if Homegirl's well had run dry for good.

It also features some of the best arrangement & production Lindsey B. has ever done.

Surely you jest.
Oooh she just seems to be missing
How could that happen anyhow
Cringeasaurus.
You feel completely indifferent
Sounds like she's chewing a mouthful of pizza dough when singing this one.
So today she says well I've changed my mind
That's a womans right they say
Well I'm frightened and I'm lost and i
Can't give you up, not now I need you now
I'm broken-hearted, broke down
Like a little girl
Well I need you now, well I'm broken hearted
Well I broke down, like a little girl
Ugh. Ugh. Save me from this.
Maybe clunky isn't the right word. Maybe just...painful ?

Paper Doll. It's a stupid little ditty, but "No Questions Asked" is a musical atrocity, so I pick the other choice.

You know what sucks? I blew the joke... I was supposed to say, "Your taste is all in your mouth", which is a lift from that classic Lucy episode "Ethel's Birthday" where Fred thinks his gift idea of a toaster sucks, so he asks Lucy to buy a gift for him, and she ends up getting Ethel a pair of harlequin satin pedal pushers. Ethel is aghast and proceeds to slam Fred for selecting someone to buy a gift in his place that has such poor taste (which is all in their mouth). Lucy tries to convince Ethel that they are "hostess pants" which one wears to "smart dinner parties". Ethel's response- "Oh, I was wondering what I was gonna wear to all those smart dinner parties I throw..." Then Lucy suggests that Ethel compliment her hostess pants by getting an off-the-shoulder blouse, a big crushy belt and some ballerina slippers so she'd be all set. Ethel proclaims she would have rather had the toaster. After much sniping, Lucy exits the scene stating, "Happy Birthday, I hope you live another 75 years" and slams the door.
By the by, I use that "hope you live another 75" line allllll the time with women at my job whenever they haul out the obligatory insincere employee birthday card routine.
So, I failed. However, "No Questions Asked" is still a pretty good number.

No Questions Asked definitely. It's one of my favourite FM songs, and my most played FM song on iTunes
I love NQA. It's one of my top Stevie songs of all time. It breaks my heart when people trash it. Not really.
How could anyone say that the lyrics are atrocious?? I think they are brilliant. Personally, I think it tells the story of how Stevie felt after the Tango incident and Lindsey left. From this song, I get the the impression that Stevie wasn't as strong and indifferent as she portrayed herself to be during this time.
Paper Doll is another song that I love. The lyrics aren't as great as NQA, but they are fun. The following lyric is my favorite. I love the way her voice sounds. So cool.
Well, you could have said no
You could have said "Well, I just can't"
Whoa, we were off the wall
We were mirrors of each other
