Hi,
I got a bunch of photos in today`s mail and just wanted to share one of the photos with you. It`s funny to see how Stevie is imitating a photographer....one of the nicest photos I`ve seen on her. Isn't it cute??? :laugh:

All the close ups in this series (the first pic posted) it's funny cause you can see that she is chewing gum. Some of the pics, that fact isn't hidden so well. What looks like teeth in some is actually Trident (or some such stuff.)

HejiraNYC - where did you find that picture? That is downright scary - from the makeup to the hair to the ghostly pallor...yikes! :eek:

Mokona..the photo is on Melanie's site. That black wig phase was 1989/1990 I believe. I think that is the worst photo I have EVER seen of Stevie. It is definately worse than the Inauguration, there she was just heavy. The series of photos of Stevie in this black wig, with the heavy goth makeup freak me out. The one with her carrying the doll like it is a baby? Oh my, it is soooo friggin freaky.
Thank God Stevie overcame that klonopin haze/depression era. Seeing that photo makes me realize once again, how thankful I am she made it out alive.

Never mind - found Melanie's site (duh, she was the one who started the post! :sorry: ). But this "doll" photo has peaked my interest. Where can I find a picture of it?

This photo is definitely haunting and frightening - I had no idea that was a wig.

It is a relief that she is out of the Klonopin era - no doubt she wouldn't have survived if she continued down that path. :(

She did a private concert in that black wig at the Hard Rock in London...there's a whole series of pics from her onstage that night. They're on my home computer, or I'd post 'em now...Perhaps she donated some clothes while she was there? :shrug:

Maybe she was performing "Nightbird," and she made a point of acting out the line "My makeup's dark... and it's careless." :lol: :eek:
