Crazy Reno + Pictures

I just got back tonight so thought I would write a little review. Reno was cruisazy. Some pyscho lady picked a fight with me :confused: The last thing I would have wanted was to be in the middle of a fight during Beauty and the Beast. :shrug: What is with these people?!

Tiff, I think I stood by you at the stage!!! I thought you looked familar. Did you straighten your hair??

Anyway, I'll get to the fight in a minute. This was the only show I have been able to go to this summer. I thought she sounded great! I went to 9 SYW shows, and compared to those shows, I thought her voice sounded so much better. Rhiannon blew me away!! She never sang Rhiannon like that at any SYW show I went to. She did a little sexy dance, I think, before Stand Back, very cute!! I'm sorry I'm so fuzzy on the details. I thought she looked very relaxed and kind of in her own little world, especially right before Rock and Roll.

I had front row clear on the very end. My eyes are crap so I couldn't see well at all. At one point she was spinning around and I thought she was going to topple into Waddy. Tiff pretty much covered the band intros, very cute!! And Lori was there, at first I thought she was some new young backup singer. She looks so good!!

Love the video backdrop for Landslide. Makes the song so much better!! It made me sad though.

I also got most of Circle Dance recorded on my camera. I was sitting there recording it for about 3 minutes and the security guard came up to me and said, "um, that isn't a video camera is it.?" I said, "uh, no," as the little record buttom was blinking away on my camera. LOL. He was like, "ok" and walked away.

So finally after Landslide we all went up to the stage. Stevie rocked Edge and came down the front. It didn't seem like there were alot of people at the stage, maybe it was just me. She reach over and grabbed our hands. I think she recognized Tiff cause she was like "hi!" Good job Tiff (if that was you!)

Ok, so now psycho lady comes up behind me and is yelling etc. She was wearing a pink baseball hat. Tiff, if that was you I was standing next to, did she push you out of the way??? I was wondering what happened there. Crazy beyotch was jumping up and down and cracked me in the skull with her elbow. Then she started shoving me, yelling, "move over, my watch is on the stage!" or some dumb thing. She then proceedes to jump on the stage and reach for her watch, then jumps down kicking my leg and landing on my foot in the process. By that point I was very irritated.

So then when Stevie started "Beauty and the Beast" psycho bitch started screaming "you are fu**in beautiful" over and over at Stevie. She had a lot of class, let me tell you. So then a lady in a wheelchair is trying to get to the front of the stage. Psycho beyotch lady starts pushing me telling me to get out of the way for the wheelchair lady. I had no problem with moving over to make room for her. I moved over as much as I could and the psycho lady proceeds to scream at me to move over more. I said, "I can't move over anymore!" I was squished. So she says, "Well, get out of the fuc**in way, you've been up here long enough." :confused: I just ignored her. The lady in the wheelchair was up at the stage at this point. So then this bitch has her friend come up behind me. The friend says, "if you don't get out of the fu**in way right now, I'm going to make fu*kin sure it's worth your while." I could not believe it, so I moved. I didn't have a choice.

A really nice lady saw and heard what happened and grabbed me and pushed me up to the stage in her spot. She was really nice telling me not to worry. I still could not believe this crazy lady!! So at this point, Beauty and the Beast is basically ruined for me :( I was so pissed.

So then the concert ended and I'm trying to leave. Her big brute friend that threatened me says, "sorry, but you needed to get out of the way." I said, "you know what, I paid for my ticket too." So then Miss bully busybody comes rushing up yelling, "you stupid c*nt! You stupid bit**h" at me!!

I usually don't like to stoop to such levels but I couldn't take it anymore so I gave her the finger and called her a dumb bi*ch and told her to F*ck off. She then proceeded to push me saying "come on, you want to go" as if she was going to fight me!! I just kept walking. At this point, the security guard had come up because he saw what was happening. As I walked by the other security guards, I told them that the lady was threatening me, but they were just like whatev. I then got out of there because the last thing I wanted was for her to find me on the street and pound me into the ground.

I don't know, this lady was crazy as all hell. I was just trying to mind my own business and enjoy the show. Then its people like this who have to ruin everything!!! I would have died if the big brute lady had made good on her threat and punched me or something right in the middle of B&B!!

But, anyway, I don't think I will be going back to Reno. The people there are crazy as hell. But, overall I had fun and thought Stevie sounded great!! I'll post some of the better pictures I took.

Ali, so sorry to hear about that psycho beyotch. :distress: WTH is with people at these shows?!?! I mean, GET A FRICKIN' CLUE people! It totally sucks that you are just minding your business, trying to enjoy a concert and it only takes one person to ruin your entire experience. I know how you felt. :mad: Hopefully, the next SN show you go to, people will be nicer.

Wow, Thanks! Awesome pics of Stevie! They are very clear and are great quality photos. Sorry about those rude people at the concert. They were probably drunk and not thinking straight. It was funny tho how that security guard didn't notice your video camera and let you keep recording! lol. With the exception of the rude (and most likely drunk) ladies, it sounds like you had a good time at Stevie's concert. :)

I'm sorry your BATB experience was ruined. I had a similar experience to yours when I went to Fresno last year. Some bitch was very rude to me, calling me names and throwing stuff at me. I almost thought we going to get in a fight too. Other than the end of the show it sounds like you had a good time. :)

Since you were in the front row, I wonder if Stevie heard that psycho screaming at you? If I were up there trying to sing a song, and someone was carrying on like that, I would be like, "Security, get this crazy bitch outta here! She's ruining it for all my true fans!" But I guess for her, tuning them out is better than getting upset. I'm proud that you stood up for yourself & gave her what she obviously deserved :) I know from experience that its not an easy thing to do (especially if the bully is some scary-ass maniac :laugh: ) I'm glad you didn't let her push you around.... you paid for your ticket like everyone else.... you had every right to be up front.... Yes. What a nut. I can't believe she started all that crap with you. I was pretty focused on Stevie, but I was vaguely aware of someone in our vicinity being really obnoxious. Sorry you got the brunt of it. Stevie probably dropped the 2 songs because she too wanted to haul ass out of Reno and get away from the crazies :p. I'm glad it sounds like you had fun anyway though... I hope she didn't spoil it too much for you.

Well, next time you want front row someplace like that, you let me know and I'll be there too. Anyone starts something like that and I'll give them THE EYE. Ask anyone who knows about my EYE and they'll tell you... it would make Hulk Hogan run. :lol: It worked in Portland for SYW when some drunk beyoch was trampling my poster (silly me for buying it before the show.) I gave her the EYE and said "don't walk across here anymore" - and she didn't... she looked at me like... :eek: . hehe

Thanks for sharing the photos, they're great! I'm so glad you got to see Stevie sans the Mac. It's a very different show, for sure. The SYW shows left me really wishing for a Stevie tour. Love me some Mac, but need that Stevie love too!

Holy crap, that lady really does sound like a psycho. I wonder if she was mentally ill or on drugs? I think at the first sign of that erratic behavior, I would have talked to a security guard and tried to get her thrown out. How the hell did her watch end up on the stage anyway?! She probably threw it up there as an excuse to bulldoze over everyone to get right in front of the stage and grab it. :shocked:

This reminds me of an experience my ex-boyfriend had at a rowdy rock concert. There was a woman behaving very erratically who kept elbowing him really hard. He thinks she was really drunk or something. He wouldn't budge and stood his ground, so she finally decided, "ok, I guess elbowing this guy isn't working; I'll have to do something more drastic." So she bit him. And drew blood. That's just effing dangerous, I'm sorry. And my ex is 6'5". He drew his arm back ever so slightly (it was crowded so he couldn't really rear back much), and popped her right in the face. He knocked her out cold--probably broke her nose. And security just came and dragged her out and barely said a word to him. Maybe you could have used him in Reno! LOL Now, my ex was not a violent guy at all (never laid a hand on me) but when you are behaving that badly and putting people in danger, you deserve to be put in your place, male or female, big or small.

Wow Ali, I was standing right by Tiff also, and I didn't see any of that commotion, if I had, well, I woulda had to interfere. People's stupidity is just too hard not to wanna bitch slap. :laugh: All jest aside, it's just so unnerving when people get all up in your face for NOTHING, just to appease their ego. They just wanted more action than Stevie's show seemed to provide. IRK!

Man, Yer there to unwine and have fun not to be threatened by someone via physical harm...Some folkz need to stay the hell home if they're only goin' to get fist-da-cuffs instead of enjoying the music, Especially at a Stevie Nicks show of all places (If ya want to get aggression out at a show I recommend goin' into the mosh pit at a Slayer show.)
