just some random thoughts here....i just got through watching the seven wonders video...its been awhile since i have seen it. WOW does Stevie not look awesome in this video? every outfit, all the hair and each twirl!! is it just me??

In this vid there are some shots of her in the Talk to Me and I Can't Wait dress. Seems to be the parts where she dances the most, if I remember correctly.

Oh, Shes beautiful all the time for me.from the 1970's to now.oh she's so cute....Lovely hair all styles, straight hair to finger in electric outlet style. hahaha.Her face very attractive.If she didn't go in to the music biz. she chould been a model.

John had that "fresh from Maui" look...tanned and just one cocktail. LOL

And this was the first video where I had to hit rewind while saying, "OMG - Christine had work done and she looks FABULOUS!" :blob2:

A great period for the band before LB got all freaky and left...

It can be a bit said, how beautiful she looked, now knowing what lie just ahead of her. She looked so refreshed, happy and healthy at the beginning of the "Tango era"...all of those great b&w photos (looking like an old-time movie star, hugging Christine with that huge smile, etc.) when she had just kicked cocaine and before the Klonopin set in. I mean, what doctor thought that woman would benefit from horse-strength sedatives?!!!

It's so true, I've seen many a person's looks totally changed after being on those nasty prescription drugs. Well, and street drugs too, for that matter. Makes you wonder what they would have looked like had they never gone thru that. I'll never forget how Stevie described the withdrawl... where her face was ashen and her hair turned gray. OMG!! :( I'm not saying Stevie's look has totally changed since then, just makes me wonder if she would still look a lot like the 7 Wonders vid if she hadn't gone thru the Klonopin thing.

Stevie did look great for awhile after getting off the coke and brandy and before the Klonopin kicked in .I saw her on the RAL tour twice once from the 3rd row and she did look pretty through and then I saw her perform with Mick Fleetwood's Zoo at the Belly Up Tavern in Solano Beach Ca. right up next to the stage in June of 1987 and she looked so much better ,this would have been right around the time the Seven Wonders video was shot.It was not long after this that she began using hair extentions and she had them in by the Tango Shake the Cage tour.

I think she was at her most beautiful during the Wild Heart era. But she was and is, and always has been, a gorgeous woman through every stage of her life. Even during the darkest days of her life, she still looked beautiful.

I'm a tusk era girl myself, but I do agree that she looked very good in the SW video :nod: The only thing that keeps it from being one of my favorite looks for her is the horrendous hair *alright, I need to shut up now considering I love the Tusk stuff :lol: * Really, though, it's almost hard to fathom how beautiful the woman was and still is.

But I agree. Seven Wonders is a brilliant video, she looks beautiful in it. Reminds me a lot of the close ups on Live at Red Rocks. I'd kill for that white dress. And for one of those looks she gets from Buckingham. Just one ... ;)

I don't think she'd had any work done yet! ;) I think at that point she'd just lost some weight from the somewhat-chubby-1984-solo project time, and yes, she did look fabulous. As did John, in his 'fresh from Maui' way. :laugh: Good description.

They all look incredible in Seven Wonders; that's my favorite video. They all look happy and playful.... Every time I see it, i fall in love with all of their faces. ;)

Well, I'm not a John obsessive but I am 15... as I have been for the past 21 years. :eek: :thumbsup: Actually I happened to catch the "As Long As You Follow" video and he looked so cleaned up and handsome in it. I guess you could say John had a couple of good years there in the late 80s. :lol: Of course Stevie and Christine looked fab in that video as well, although I'm not a fan of Stevie's baby doll hat. :eek:

True dat. The massive repairs were done right before "The Dance." I guess she and Stevie got a group discount. :lol: Seriously, take a look at Christine's performance of "Songbird" on the "Rumours Classic Albums" DVD. You can clearly see the "seam" right in front of her ear.

Stevie is just a natural beauty. She would still look hot no matter what happened to her. I love the SW video. Everybody is in good spirits and of course the song is awesome, as well. Everytime I watch it, I am glued to the TV every time I see Stevie's face. Especially during the close ups! :xoxo:

They got in WAY too close in that shot!!! For heaven's sake, you can see the fuzz on her cheeks! :shocked: not real flattering. But I totally agree she had major work done before the Dance. Turned out very nicely though IMO.

Yes, wonderful work indeed. Especially when you compare her "Dance" look against her photos in the "Time" CD booklet, where she was looking a bit haggard, to put it mildly. I guess the only thing I find disturbing is that her face simply does not move on the Rumours DVD. :eek:

The video is full of little moments like that, just single shots that all look very cool and dramatic. The blue light is very cool. My favourite Mac video, I think.

And they are all having a good time, you can tell. God, that smirk ... The smirk in Slow Dancing ... God, the guy sure can smirk.*collapses again*
